« This is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area. A couple of things to know: it is 3 story, but because of the age, there is no elevator (typical with Gold Rush era hotels). They have one...

« We had an amazing weekend at this property! The unit was clean and perfectly fit 6 people with the loft, sofa bed, and Murphy bed. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzis, barbecue, and ping pong! It was also nice being in the ski village and only 15 minutes away from the lake. »
