"Quaint hotel"
Maybe it was the time of year but in the ground floor with school children running up and down and then at 8am coulf hear the hotel staff loudly talking outside the window! Not nice to be rudely woken up like that. Shame we had a room with disabled facilities but it provides a nice double bed made from 2 twin.

"Really good country house B&B."
Really lucked out with this place. We booked it on a whim really. Superb country house providing a superior B& B experience. Just nice all round. Could not believe how much crockery they had on the breakfast tables. The staff were excellent as was the food. I would thoroughly recommend this establishment.

Charlton House Spa Hotel

near Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet - Map
"Lovely spa hotel "
Lovely old manor house converted to a hotel by the owners of Mulberry. Now owned by Bannatyne. Staff are lovely, spa great. However we had a standard double which was outside of the main building and it was a bit tired. It rained constantly and there was no doormat into the room so carpets suffered. Umbrella stand but no umbrellas! Restaurant and drink prices high so we ate most evenings at the Thatch Cottage 5 minutes walk away, great food. All in all, a lovely hotel but could do with updating some of the rooms
