"Excellent customer service. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The upgrade with the four poster bed and side balcony with sea view was very much appreciated. Thank you. The breakfast was amazing. It exceeded our expectations. So much choice. It included lots of local specialities and Sicilian treats. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return."

"Property was excellent. The kitchenette was great, bathroom and living area were spacious. Air conditioning worked very well and balcony was shaded in the afternoon and large enough for two. Free parking could be challenging. The bed was quite firm. "

"Fantastic!! We had such a wonderful time the two nights we stayed at Hotel Scala and wish we stayed longer! We arrived our first night very late and were ravenous from our travels that day, the staff offered us dinner right after we got settled in at the restaurant on the property. We got wine and the spaghetti vongole, which was delicious. The air conditioner kept the room nice and cold which was lovely to come back to at the end of the day. The two men who ran the place were extremely helpful in giving directions to the Main town Ortigia as well as helping us with anything we needed! Lovely place & lovely people! The only thing we wish was different was the location being closer to the main town, other than that it was great! "
