"It was ok"
Everything was OK, if you are looking a place just to sleep in the night, this hotel is good enough. But I am not sure if it was worth the money i paid for this hotel. The pricing is because of closeness to Yellowstone not because of the facilities.

"In Town Location Near West Yellowstone Entrance"
I stayed in the Dude Hotel, the Roundup facility is just across the street (I thought it was all one facility). The Hotel/Motel was clean and 2 queen beds were comfortable. However the bath overhead light was in need of repair and there was no bedside lamp. You have to get up to turn out the ceiling overhead light which is the only light in the room and is very bright. My room was on the second floor over the check-in desk and laundry and the first night there the laundry ran all night and the water/dryer was very noisy. Other nights all was quiet. The bathroom electric outlet only worked if you turned on the vanity light, so the only other 2 outlets that I could use to charge my electronics were by the small table and where the TV was plugged in. There was only a single cup coffee maker in the room and that was broken, so my advise would be to go out for your early cup of Joe.

"I enjoyed my stay and the staff."
The room I had was nice and roomy. I was comfortable for the most part. The only reason I didn't rate it more than three stars on comfort is because the AC unit was inadequate. Luckily, it's West Yellowstone, so it doesn't really get too hot, so the room temperature was ok at night, but the unit did not remove enough moisture from the room so it wasn't as comfortable as it could be. It wasn't horrible though. Three stars equals tolerable comfort. Other than that, the decor was nice, the fridge was a great addition, the layout of the hotel near my room (including the quaint little reading area with tons of books) was interesting and well kept. The breakfast was great too. Wasn't too crazy about the minimal selection in the Asian buffet, but at least it looked fresh and well-prepared. I also have to give kudos to the staff. My Expedia reservation booked a room that was in need of some carpet repair and the lady behind the counter caught it and moved me to a better room before I could even see it. The hotel is nicely tucked away in a corner of the town too, so there wasn't a lot of loud activity going on outside (this is a vacation town with tons of visitors after all, and I stayed in June when the crowds start to get heavy). I would definitely recommend White Buffalo to others.

Wood swing, chairs in the front yard, they are very unique and great place to stay with your friends. If the office is opened longer hours, it would be better.
