Reimagined by Yoshio Taniguchi to accommodate the scale and experience of modern and contemporary art, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) houses an atrium that soars 110 feet (33.5 m) above street level, offering stunning views of the sculpture garden and the surrounding area.

MoMA's collection encompasses traditional mediums plus film and industrial design. Its 150,000-piece collection offers an unparalleled overview across 6 areas: Architecture and Design; Drawings; Film and Media; Painting and Sculpture; Photography; and Prints and Illustrated Books. MoMA also offers a random-access audio program about the collection. Listen to commentary by dozens of curators, artists, and critics as they share their unique perspective on select works.

MoMA Highlights
To celebrate the opening of the new Museum of Modern Art building, a revised and updated edition of MoMA Highlights was published. This museum guidebook offers a stunning overview of the museum’s world-famous collection of modern and contemporary art.

MoMA Highlights contains museum curators' selections of the most significant artworks in the collection, presenting a broadly chronological overview that takes readers from Post-Impressionism to contemporary art. More than 350 highlights from the museum's 6 departments—Painting and Sculpture; Drawings; Prints and Illustrated Books; Photography; Architecture and Design; and Film and Media—are interwoven with full-color pictures and essays.

MoMA Hightlights is available in English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Italian, and Korean. To receive your copy, book the "museum admission + guidebook" option, and get 10% off at acclaimed restaurateur Danny Meyer's Cafe 2 as well as included admission to MoMA PS1, MoMA's contemporary art affiliate in Queens, New York. PS1—an exhibition space rather than a collecting institution— displays some of the world's most cutting-edge, experimental art.
