Hidden Gem :) Better Than I Expected!
The room was very nice, updated and the beds were a little firm but still had a good nights rest with the nice linens they provided. All the staff was very helpful and nice. Security guards made you feel safe :) which is a plus.

When Things Get Settled...
The staff still has a little bit to go before they are to the standards of Golden Nugget but considering this used to be one of the WORST hotels in Vegas, they are okay with me and they are walking distance to work. My boyfriend absolutely loves the hotel and has made it his mainstay when he come to Vegas.

Nice surprise
The renovations are still going on but it is looking good. The old parking area still has construction but parking is available there. The new parking area is complete and plenty of parking is available. You are one block off Fremont Street, about a 2 block walk to the Double Deuce bus stop to take you to The Strip area, and about a 2 block walk to the main city bus depot. The restaurant / cafe has quite good food and stays pretty busy, the bar area has a number of tv’s with the sports book area right there. I was there over SB weekend (the Big Game on Feb. 7; NFL has protection on the name. : ) ) and it was a good time. The nice surprise was the room. When I first opened the door it was "Wow!". I got a newly renovated room.... large, clean, flat-screen tv, window overlooking the street (4th St I think) leading to Fremont St.; very clean bathroom with amenities like shampoo and skin cream. I’ll definitely go back again!
