decent stay
the hotel is located next to the subway station, due to my early arrival i got a early checkin in the morning at 9AM, good to take a shower after the long flight. the weird thing was the room does not look very clean, towel in the bathroom smells sweaty, i don’t know if the cleaning lady forgot to replace it or not. but was replaced after speaking to the cleaning staff. otherwise, it was a pretty good hotel.

Excellent
We were very pleased with this hotel. There was some noise, since the highway is adjacent and there is no AC, but the closeness to the metro and shops more than made up for that. The kitchen in the room was helpful and although the furnishings were not luxurious, they were adequate. The breakfast buffet was fabulous--with many types of bread, yogurt, cereal, meat, cheese, eggs, etc., but it was hard for me to face olives, peppers, and pickles at 7am!
Traveller's tip on local attractions
The summer palace at Drottningholm was our favorite spot in Stockholm. Take the metro just three stops from the hotel (to Bromma) and then take a bus numbered in the 300’s. The interior is very nice, but if you don’t want to pay the admission you can still visit the beautiful grounds (formal and informal gardens) and enjoy the waterfront views.

Very inexpensive, pleasant, no maid service
This is a "self service" hotel: there is no maid service, no change of towels or sheets in stays under a week -- but the room was clean, spacious and pleasant, and very inexpensive -- and it included a very nice buffet breakfast. Also, the hotel is close to a stop of Stockholm’s superb transit system. It worked out very well for my wife and me.
