Very Basic but closest chain hotel to Gore Mtn. Ski area
Called the hotel and was told to book through Expedia for the best rate. That was true. Hotel is very basic. Clean. No closet just a bar with hangers on the wall. Room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker; but not enough outlets to operate all three at once. Soap was small and not replaced each night even though I tipped the maid. Breakfast was minimal. English muffins, plain donuts, cherrios and some type of flakes. The kids would not eat it. I took them to Dunkin Donuts across the street. Hotel is 20 minutes to Gore Mtn where we skied. Good inexpensive restaurants close by and grocery store in Warrensburg. For an economical no frills stay, I would recommend. The entrance off of Route 9 is not well marked.

Quaint Super 8
We chose this motel because they have a pet friendly policy. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was clean with comfortable beds. There was also a mini frige, microwave, and coffee pot in the room. Motel offered a Continental breakfast, but we didn’t take advantage. There’s not a lot in the town, but it’s an easy 10 min. ride into Lake George. Overall, I thought it was a tremendous value for the money. I would stay here again!

Someplace to sleep
The sheets were clean and they offered free coffee and pastries. The floors in the room weren’t very clean, the bathtub had some mildew, and the curtains didn’t close all of the way.
