Good location, crap beds
I enjoyed the area, you’re not so far east on Dundas that you get a lot of the safety worries people talk about. You’re just off the Eaton Centre, easy access to the Dundas station (seriously 30 sec. from the hotel) and easy walking distance from the bus terminal (Greyhound, not TTC) The bed was really uncomfortable though. I woke up sore every day until I managed to scavenge enough blankets to pad it out a bit. And the bed slides around like crazy on their hardwood floors. This alone would be enough for me to reconsider an otherwise great place to stay since the main point of a hotel room is to get a good night’s sleep! Cleaning service is great, they’ll respond to little notes you leave them (how I got the blankets), though for some reason they tried to charge me for the expensive bottled water that I never touched. It’s unfortunate that they charge for wifi, when it’s so common for it to be included these days. Though I did know that going in.

Clean, inexpensive, comfortable hotel
Enjoyed the Bond Place. It was very convenient to a conference I was attending yet their rate was almost 50% less than the conference hotel was charging. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Friendly people upon check in and out. Hardwood floors in my room was unexpected but appreciated. Great place.
