Nice for the Price!!!
We arrived and the hotel parking was full and only Valet service, so we parked next door in a public lot. Check in was fine, although they do put a $100.00 hold on your CC in case of damage or charges. The room was very nice, the luxury bed is huge! No view except of some downtown but not a big deal. Hot tub was really really hot and the pool was nice.

Good hotel in central Toronto
The hotel is nice but not on par with the nicest of the Toronto hotels. Some of the finishes are cheap (countertops, fixtures). The heating unit in my room made a lot of noise off & on, which was a problem. Room service is overpriced, even for room service. The location is great for central Toronto. It is just off of Nathan Phillip Square and only about 5 minutes from the Eaton Centre. It has a very good restaurant in the hotel and many others close by. I would classify the Metropolitan as a good medium level hotel and a good choice for the business traveller. Wireless internet worked well in the luxury room and the desk was a good size. It also has a business centre and gym.

Nice hotel with friendly staff.
Good downtown location. Nice, clean medium cost hotel. Staff were friendly, they recommended a restaurant nearby for a light breakfast (eggsmart on bay) at reasonable cost $18 (for downtown toronto). This was my second stay at this hotel and will return, on future visits to toronto.
