unexpected surprise
knowing that the Georgian has been around for awhile wasn’t expecting much - turned out good - clean - location great - quiet - would go back

I was very happy with the service at The Georgian hotel. I would gladly reccomend it.

Not as good as I expected
I heard such great things about the Georgian and was excited to stay there. I turned out to be disappointed. The rooms themselves leave something to be desired. They were very outdated and the bed was so uncomfortable that we had trouble sleeping at night. The pool area was great though. The pool was really nice and they have a waitress that comes around to serve food and drinks. The one thing that bothered me most about the hotel was that they had one of those signs up that says if you don’t want them to take your towels to hang them up. I had brought a towel from home and hung it up. When they cleaned the room, they took my personal towel and all of the other towels that we hung up, even though the sign indicated they wouldn’t. When I told them I wanted it back, they told me they didn’t know what I was talking about. So, now I am out for a towel. I have gone to Lake George numerous times and can tell you, save your money and stay at one of the other hotels next to the Georgian. They are less expensive and just as nice.
