Great Location!
this hotel is right in the middle of gaslamp district- walking distance from restaurants and bars.

True Luxury
There is no doubt that this hotel is exactly as described on the website. What more can I say? I loved staying there and felt like Royalty. The entrance hall/lobby area is majestic and the room & furnishings were stylish yet suitably understated. The long hallways to the rooms are a bit dark which gave a "haunted house" feel though once in the room the large sash windows make the room bright and inviting. The complimentary water in the room was a nice touch as was the little linen "mat" put next to the bed at turndown. This hotel is so conveniently located. Restaurants, theatres, shopping, movies, the cruise ship terminal, places of interest, the conference center are all within walking distance.

Greatest Location in San Diego
It appears the room we were given may be one that is not a top notch room. We did not bring it up with the staff, so nobody’s fault but our own. It was more than sufficient and worked for us.
