“Wonderful accomodations”
Hotel accomodated our request for the kind of room we wanted. Spacious room and bathroom, furnished kitchen (but microwave plug not working), breakfast room was packed and food would take time to refill. Inspite, of these shortcomings, hotel was clean and staff was mostly accomodating. When I had problems with the wireless, I called afternoon staff at the front desk and they said I had to call the cable company, but the morning staff said they could send someone to check the access in the room. After I had insisted for someone to come and assist me, they sent someone who was not able to do anything. I called the cable company and they gave me access immediately. Requested for late chek-out by three hours and they accomodated with a fee.

We arrived a little late after a busy day and a long drive. We would have been happy with a clean, comfortable bed. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our suite! Everything we needed was right there, even a jacuzzi tub. The entire hotel was bright and clean, the staff was friendly and the location was perfect for our needs -- close to the International Centre where we were attending a weekend show. Good restaurants were just a short drive away.Great value. If, however, you're planning on spending time doing touristy things or exploring downtown Toronto, the location isn't convenient.
“Really nice place to stay”
What a wonderful trip, the hotel staff were so friendly, they switched our room to s smoking room the 2nd night no problem and even offered us a tour of the room before we decided, the rooms were very nice, but the best part was the staff, so friendly. The courtyard off the breakfast room was unbelievably fantastic with waterfall and peacock, we could have lounged there all day. What a great place to stay, we will be back!
“Dynamite Bargain for the money............”
Location was very good and the room was very nice. It even had a micro and a small fridge as well as a coffee maker. The bath had a jetted tub and the bedroom was separated from the sitting area by a sliding door with separate access to the bath. A small dining table served as our laptop area with free WI-FI. They even had the BEST included breakfast we have ever experienced. Something we didn't know until being there, they even provide a complimentary light supper Monday thru Thursday, I believe. We would definitely use this property again if given the chance.

we took advantage of what the hotel offered. working out at the fitness center every morning.then having breakfast ready for us. I am glad we choose this hotel. it was really a suite NOT JUST A HOTEL.

“great place staff were very helpful”
The one thing to improve on is the evening reception, more variety of foods and drinks. Otherwise everything was great and enjoyable.
“Decent Hotel, Excellent service”
This was our second time staying at Sandalwood (4 nights) and the hotel again did not fail us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The service lady was very nice and she did a great job cleaning the room, which is quite cozy and comfortable. There was a microwave and chinaware, and a coffee maker in the room (we used it to boil water for tea) Breakfast was OK. Not 5 star but it was decent. The neighborhood was quiet, which is important if you plan on getting a good night's sleep. About 10 minutes from the hotel is a busy shopping area (around the oceans asian supermarket) and some nice restaurants. Also, you don't have to pay for parking which is another plus compared to average $50/day at other locations. For the money, Sandalwood is an excellent choice. I've stayed at fancier hotels in downtown Toronto, but they cost us an arm and leg for the name and (unnecessary) luxury.
