“Very friendly hotel staff.”

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. My first booking was for 2 weeks, and as a result of this, I chose it again for my return. I found it in an excellent location, only within 10 mins by car to downtown, yet had plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby on West Broadway to Granville. The staff were very personable and friendly, the quality of this hotel is excellent for the value offered. I will go there anytime.

“Just what I was looking for”

I was only in town overnight and wanted a reasonably modest but decent place to stay, away from the difficult parts of town. This place filled the bill perfectly.

“Excellent Hotel”

The hotel was wonderful. Very sophisticated decor. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly which makes the visit all the more pleasant. The only minor improvement would be to put wireless in all of the rooms and to have a more extensive movie selection. The hotel is in a fabulous location, I was able to zip into the city within 15mins via car and was within walking distance to all amenities. I will absolutely stay there again!

“An amazing place to stay!”

The stay at the Plaza 500 was wonderful. The staff was helpful, informative and really nice. They would always greet us and ask about our day out and about. It was nice to know that they cared about our entire experience not just the hotel. The room was really nice and clean. There was plenty of room and it was very comfortable. We had a wonderful view of the city from our balcony so we all had amazing pictures. Overall, we would recommend this hotel to anyone, and when I return to Vancouver this is where we will be staying.

“Comfortable Hotel”

Plaza 500 Hotel was very comfortable hotel to stay. We were in suite room on the 10th floor and the night view was spectacular! The room was very clean and very big. The front desk was friendly and helpful. However, the bathroom was a little bit smaller than I thought. Also, the hotel is not in the downtown Vancouver, so this hotel is not a place for you if you don't have a car with you. But because it was not in the downtown, the hotel was very quite to stay.

“Suggestion”

It would be helpful if the hotel could give out guidlines to municipal transport and buses to take when visiting various places of interest in Vancouver.

“Great Hotel in Vancouver, BC”

We got a great rate for our May 2010 stay @ the Plaza 500 in Vancouver, BC. The hotel was clean, staff friendly, room HUGE. The balcony view was unexpected and beautiful! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this city. Enjoy!
