“Great value”
Great hotel and very helpful staff, especially the doormen. Lovely patio to enjoy the generous breakfast buffet every morning. Rooftop hot tubs were a beautiful place to enjoy the view of the city especially at night. Indoor pool was beautiful and you would never guess it was all underground. Room was very nice with 2 TV's, 2 DVD players and a CD clock radio. Appreciated the robes to use at the hot tub or pool. Bath towels were extremely soft! Convenient location to catch the grayline tours or just walk to most of the interesting sites.
“Great Toronto Hotel”
The Grand Hotel & Suites is in a great location and provides a superior environment at a very reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again.
“Excellent hôtel”
- hôtel très bien placé pour visiter Toronto avec des installations apportant un plus pour rendre le séjour inoubliable: belle piscine intérieure et un jacusi sur les toits avec écran géant. Petit-déjeuner complet servi dans un cadre agréable.
“Very good quality for a very fair price.”
Beautifully presented with exceptional comfort. Extras were of astounding quality -terrific pool, 2 large spas with wide screen tv on the roof, complimentary breakfast. This is all hard to compete with. I could live here.
“Excellent value!!”
We stayed here for 4 days with our two small children as part of a 15 day road trip from Tennessee, thru Michigan to Mackinac Island, and then to Toronto, Niagara-On-The-Lake, and finally on to Niagara Falls. I had been to Toronto last year on business, and I stayed at the Westin Harbour Castle on the waterfront, but they were booked up so we decided to stay at the Grand. Wonderful stay!! The sushi by Eddie in the Restaurant was very good, the breakfast buffet was phenomenal and included in the room price. The only inconvenience is the location -- it is a long walk to the waterfront, and we ended up taking taxi's 2 times, but it is only a 5 minute walk to the station where we picked up the double decker bus which we used as our primary transportation. I highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay again. The rooftop spas were wonderful also.
“Excellent Hotel & Great Experience”
Was recommended to give the hotel a try, price was good & includes an excellent breakfast. this hotel is a well kept secret. living in the quiet country we are always worried about city noises keeping us awake - we slept like babies.
“Roof-top Hot Tubs were great”
The indoor pool, rooftop hot tubs and full breakfast made the stay most enjoying. The free Adult cable was a bonus. Very spacious room but can't say the same for the parking lot. Parking was very tight and I was glad to have a medium sized car. Overall it was a great stay.
“Very impressed”
The Grand Hotel was great overall, I stayed for a week for work. I was impressed that they provide many services such as breakfast, wireless, pool, rooftop hot tub etc inc in the price. My only complaint is that I payed extra to upgrade to a room with a separate bedroom and this turned out to be a room with glass sliding doors that did not meet in the middle. I wanted some privacy between me and a guest who used the sofa bed provided. The area is also not that great but convenient for Dundas Sq and subway a 5 minute walk away. Great stay overall.
“excellent service”
Can't wait to go back
“Great service and good location too”
I would recommend this hotel mainly for the service and convience.
