Here at Kimo's Beach House, you will have everything you need for an epic beach trip to the Cape! Take advantage of the close proximity to the beach and head out to the shore to ride some waves. Then come back home and enjoy the furnished patio, complete with a gas grill, TV, and board games.

The home is in a prime spot in the heart of West Yarmouth. Seagull Beach is one and a half miles away. What truly makes this home special is its close proximity to all attractions. Whether you want to hit the beach, shop, take in a movie, go boating, fishing, or dining in one of the local restaurants, everything is within a few short miles of this rental. Lewis Bay is also close offering superb viewing areas for all the summer fireworks.

Please note this is a shared home. There is a full-time tenant living on the back side of the home.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Security camera details: The neighbor has onlooking surveillance cameras, and this home has surveillance cameras installed in the front yard. These cameras are only on the outside of the home and comply with Massachusetts laws.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

If you have an aversion to smells, such as smoke mixed with cleaning products, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. The pictures were true to the property but the smell was too much for me to overcome to give the property a good rating.

From the start we couldn’t get in, each person I contacted had a different code. The house smelled like cat urine. When I got into bed, the blankets smelled like cat urine. I called and they said they would replace our blankets, no one did. It was so disappointing. The property needs to be updated, furniture and beds are of low quality. It was really disappointing. My cleaning fee was refunded.

Great spot on the cape!
Great spot in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Walking distance to a few restaurants, liquor store, etc, and short driving distance to many spectacular Cape spots. House is clean. Yard is awesome. Appreciated the beach towels. The house is pretty minimal so be sure to bring supplies, spices, oil etc if you’re planning on using the kitchen to cook.

Short drive to nice beaches
I spent the day I arrived at Sandwich Boardwalk before I checked in, it's a 25 minute drive away. I spent the next day at Seagull Beach 1.5 miles away from the house. That evening I watched the sun set at Gray's Beach, a 10 minute drive from the house. I ran each morning in the quiet neighborhood with almost no traffic and lots of shade. I don't have little kids, but just down the street there is a playground and basketball court, which would be fun for kids. There is no dishwasher, so that is my one negative comment. There is a stop and shop, a Thai place, and lots of put-put golf within a mile of the house. I was happy with the location.

House location was good. Toilet bowl ran constantly and bathroom vent fan extremely noisy. Four burner gas grill will not heat above 250° so we had to use the oven to cook our steaks

Decent Place with some privacy concerns
Overall very happy, the place is in great shape for Cape Cod, 12 minute bicycle ride to Seagull Beach, has all the amenities. Some little gripes: Privacy (not little) - the house is clearly broken down in two: one has the owners and a very small fence with their deck facing the back yard for the rental property, it's not very comfortable. Granted the owners were only there on the first day of check-in. The walked in while we were grilling onto the rental property with some grilling tools, as though as we were missing some - were weren't. Overall you always feel watched. Window AC in my bedroom was extremely loud, but not generating much cool, so even on a moderately warm (not hot at all) night it was loud and still hot. Toilette is constantly flashing and the flush chain gets stuck, it's really a good idea to fix that Gas Oven in the kitchen isn't functional, at least we couldn't get it going. Frying pens are super old, it's almost impossible to wash them off and everything burns on them, when using to cook, no matter how much oil/butter one adds. Overall we were ok, no major gripes, the place could use another bathroom/shower set up, for 6 people it was not easy to get by with one bathroom.
