Tout d'abord, on nous a donné une chambre au 2e etage et aucun ascenseur n'était fonctionnel. Arrivés a la chambre, nous avons ouvert la porte sur une chambre occupée par des gens!!! On a du redescendre nos valises par les escaliers pour se faire attribuer une chambre a l'odeur repugnante! Tapis des années 80, odeur de cigarette imprégnée, sorties de secours non fonctionnelle près de notre chambre. Des matelas tellement vieux et usés quils devraient être brûlés !! 2 serviettes pour 4 personnes dans la chambre. Incapables d'en obtenir d'autres !! Même chose le lendemain, on a du se mettre en colère pour avoir 2 serviettes de douche. A éviter même pour un séjour d'une nuit! En résumé : répugnant !!

It is a nice hotel but not for Saturday night. There was an All-inclusive Shabbos going on. I could never imagine that Orthodox Jews behave like that. Untill 3 in the morning adults were roaming the hallways in groups talking at the top of your lungs and children were running playing some sort of loud games. Did not get any sleep.

Oy vey, where do I start? If you, as a property, are holding an event in a venue on-site that would take up all of the parking AND play loud music until after midnight, I think you should notify guests. Additionally, the consistency of the daily maid service was terrible - there is a coffee maker in the room. Is one pod really meant to last for three nights? If you are cleaning the bathroom and notice that the guests have already used the backup toilet paper, shouldn’t you leave another? Are wash clothes no longer standard in bathrooms? It would appear that some sort of renovation may have been done in the bathrooms 15-20 years ago but really, the bathtub is peeling badly. Generally, there was very little functional electricity in the room, nothing worked on the side of the room with the ONLY nightstand. My husband had to use an extension cord and run it into the bathroom to utilize his CPap machine. Someone prior to us had turned the refrigerator up to freezing so all of our food and beverages froze. One elevator was out of service and the other was so clunky and noisy we didn’t take it again. All in all, this was a pretty bad experience and certainly not in line with what we expect from hotels in Tarrytown.

The hotel was under a renovation. Stacks of countertops and mattresses in parking lot. Units next door being demoed. Access doors not working. Room unit door ajar upon arrival. Requested a cancellation for last two nights and never heard back from Expedia. Hotel said I would not be charged for more than the one night. I see full charge in my credit card. Help.

Ourv room had to be switched... the tv didn't work, toilet didn't work, and it had an awful smell in the room. Pool hours are also very strange and need to be mentioned at booking. Our kids were very disappointed at the limited hours

Our check in experience was unacceptable. We booked & paid for a king room with a sofa which Expedia said was available. Took our luggage to our room to find it was a 2 double bed room. Returned to the front desk & they gave us a key for another “king” room. We walked even further, to find ANOTHER 2 double bed room. Went BACK to front desk where they started explaining that the hotel started renovations 3 weeks ago, & that they sent Expedia emails explaining that & that at this time, there would be no king rooms available for guests. We were made unaware of this nor did we receive any email alerts by you or the hotel. We chose Sleepy Hollow for our one year Anniversary. And I always love using Expedia to plan. We were expecting a nice, relaxing overnight stay. We were 2 grown adults crowded on a double bed. Made for a very uncomfortable time. We booked & paid for something we did not receive, and nothing was done for this inconvenience.

Hands down the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I flew in from London for an event and booked the hotel so I could get 2 good nights of sleep rather than staying with my friends. BUT there was a party at the hotel with children running up and down the corridors on both nights. The hotel did try and move me the day I went up but they didn't say it was because of noise disturbance. I thought I would lose my mind. This was so stressful and awful and I can't believe I actually paid for it. They have reimbursed me for one night but not the second night. Totally irresponsible to have other guests and uncontrolled kids running up and down all night. I am waiting to hear from the manageress about the second night.

This property is completely outdated and needs to be updated. Old carpets, old and uncomfortable beds, old tvs that didn’t work. Could have been a nice gym but equipment was missing. Very loud. Would not stay there again. Limited dining unless you are orthodox Jewish. Disappointed in the overall experience.

This is an older hotel being slowly renovated and the layout is confusing If you’re lucky and get a renovated room, it’s great, but if not, one is faced with non-functional temperature controls, broken screens, rust on bathroom fixtures, etc. To their credit, they changed my room and upgraded me at no additional charge. Restaurant hours are limited to breakfast on most days and cost is $32 for a buffet. It would behoove the hotel to offer a counter for things such as bagels, muffins, danish, etc. They could make a ton more money with minimal effort. The staff is very nice and accommodating.
