Salut Roger,Merci d'avoir partagé tes impressions. Dommage que la plage ne corresponde pas à tes attentes avec toutes ces roches, et que la nourriture ne soit que moyenne. Ça peut vraiment affecter l'expérience globale.

Les geo sont vraiment acceuillants, gentils, talentueux. il y a de gros efforts sur les activités . Expedia offre un forfait VIP qui ne donne aucun avantage , tres décevant car l'hotel avantage leurs clients Privilège...serviettes , piscine, resto, plage. Mais cette deception passée le séjour a ete merveilleux. Puerto aventura est sécuritaire magnifique village.

Au début, nous devons héberger à Catalonia Riviera Maya Resort, le l'hotel était plein et les installation n'étions pas selon les photos du site, heureusement nous avions reçu l'option d'upgrade et aller à l'hotel Catalonia Gand Costa Mujeres all suites, et ceci montrait la différence. Bonne place, les installations sont de premier niveau et très chic.

Franchement rien ne m'a plus. C'était sale cela ne vaut pas un 4 etoile les employés désagréable aucun d'entre eux ne parlent Français. Les chambres catastrophique ne reflètent pas les photos je deconseille fortement. Les plages impossible de s'y baigner l'eau est noir il y a des camions et trateau pelle sur les plages car elles sont pleines d'algues

El hotel está muy lejos del Aeropuerto, dentro de un fraccionamiento, instalaciones comunes aceptables, comida buena, bebida promedio, alcohol hasta las 11pm, no hay room service, las habitaciones standard están deplorables, aire acondicionado viejo, decoración deprimente, la "playa" son como 100m cuadrados de arena y si vas en temporada de sargazo es espeluznante, si le tienes miedo a los ratones huye de ahiiii hay unos animalitos que son como ratas gigantes de 5kg no hacen nada pero hay decenas. Solo dos cosas rescatables para mí gusto las personas que trabajan ahí y que se ve que hacen si mejor esfuerzo y la comida

Excellent buffet varié avec des produits de qualité. Excellent service dans tous les restaurants. Restaurant japonais très bon. Spa et qualité des massages très bien. Personnel accueillant. Lits très confortables. Chambre démodée, mais propre. Environnement sécuritaire. Le seul hic: la plage. Tres petite plage. On ne peut pas se balader sur le bord de mer. Sinon A1. Je le recommande aux gens qui n’attachent pas d’importance à la plage. Plusieurs belles piscines propres avec bar et différents buffets le jour également à l’extérieur. Vraiment surprise par la qualités des prestations.

Much better than expected
This resort currently has a 7.4 out of 10 score. Thus, I tried to make a reservation somewhere else, but it was too late and hence other options were much more expensive. I decided at the end to give it a chance and I am happy that I did. For starters, given that I am a frequent Caribbean visitor, they upgraded me for free to their Privileged status, for which I am grateful. Food and drinks are great, especially in Bloved. Service standard was generally high. For me, the worse is the beach, which is not bad at all, but not made of the finest white sand. A brilliant workaround has been to close the beach with a barrier of hollow pyramids, which provides a home to a range of tropical fishes and the greatest snorkel out of a reef. I could see there exotic porcupine fishes. Closer to the shore, a lion fish and a scorpion fish (so do not step barefoot on rocks there!). Best of all, there was a majestic eagle ray (beautiful to watch but dangerous if you provoke, so no touching!). A part of the beach has a sandy bottom, which is perfectly safe for those who would rather avoid these beautiful creatures.

Super beau SPA. 2 Plages et 1 Lagon pour se baigner. Eau un peu rocailleuse pour les 2 plages. Mais pour la plongée en apnée c'est super. Il y a une barrière de corail pleins de poissons devant l'hotel. Magnifique!!!

Staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful. I was a solo traveler and they remembered me at the restaurants, remembered my allergy too! They staff keep the place clean and well run. The pool staff work hard getting everyone playing games, the bar staff never stop. Management should look into getting more bar staff working, one person for 15 people at a swim up bar is hard. Wait time is toooo long. Foood was good - definitely book ahead of time the restaurants you want. Enough pools and activities. The seaweed took over the beach but they had people out there everyday, working hard. Too bad about the seaweed. I felt safe and secure in my room and walking around. This hotel doesn’t do shutttle so I worked with “eTransfers” shuttle and it was great. I did private transportation and the staff communication was superb. They WhatsApp you e writhing you need to know and where to go in the airport.

I bought the privilege package and to be honest the regular people had better views than I did we were stuck in building 10 near road for apartments. The food was good Teppanyaki just served us food no skill show a couple that were local said this place has gone downhill. The beach is hit and miss due to the weather not their fault but you do have the lagoon as a safety net. The desserts was very lacking and they offered only fruit during the day at the regular buffet and the private buffet which is ridiculous. It's an OK place but I will not go here again I preferred the occidental Xcaret for the same price and they know what privilege means.

This is hands down one of the best resorts I have ever stayed at and I will always return to. The staff was very friendly and easy to talk to. They were always cleaning or upgrading. Top notch resort.

We come to scuba dive so this place is perfect for that. Dive shop right on site and quick 10 min walk to the marina. Otherwise the place is perfect for what we need: clean, enough places to eat with quality food and friendly staff. Incredibly affordable price as well.

We have stayed here several times, first time after covid. They have made several changes that are not user friendly. Lots of people complained. They have dinner reservations online that is not user friendly and system was down alot. Some customer service agents could help and some could not. Our room upgrade took time and we were out of a room for over 5 hours then had 2 technicians come to fix A/C and still was not fixed. They took away several fun activities like bikes, tennis and archery. Food options were reduced. One buffet is under remodeling and closed for over a week. The Japanese restaurant used to be fun and interactive, it no longer has either. Grill used to have several appetizers options that was removed. Privilege restaurant is top of the stairs far away. Privilege pool was over populated, some are not privileged guest. Staff are friendly! Cleaning service is amazing and the spa was fantastic!

We loved staying at Catalonia. The restaurants and entertainment were great and the hotel was very clean. They were always cleaning the property and upkeeping every day. The only reason I gave a 4 star was because the beach had a lot of rocks and seaweed and mostly because they did not honor my mothers Exclusive Travel Gold membership. They said I had to book through the website and not Expedia. I even showed them my moms contract number and I’m a beneficiary. That was really annoying but overall the trip was nice.

We really enjoyed our stay. There were several things that we didn’t care for. The pools were very warm and not refreshing. The pools were also dirty and caused our suits to turn green from a film floating on top of the water. Our room was very nice and updated. However, our bed was extremely hard and caused my husband to have back pain throughout our stay. While most staff were friendly, there were some that seemed bothered when we would ask for something.

Las instalaciones son muy calurosas, muy mal servicio, mala comida y mal lugar para pasar tus vacaciones. No lo recomiendo, invierte tu tiempo en otro hotel con mejores condiciones. Desde el primer día tuvimos muchas frustraciones. La verdad no lo disfruté.

Parece que las instalaciones carecían de comodidades adecuadas, el servicio no cumplió con tus expectativas, la comida no fue satisfactoria y en general, no encontraste el lugar adecuado para disfrutar tus vacaciones. Entiendo tu recomendación de buscar otro hotel con mejores condiciones. Espero que en tu próximo viaje encuentres el destino perfecto que te proporcione una experiencia mucho más agradable y satisfactoria.

Por el precio fue muy buena opción, especialmente nosotros que somos locales y solo queremos pasar un día de piscina fuera de casa. El tema de la comida es que existen pocas opciones, los horarios son muy diferentes a lo acostumbrado y la variedad es mínima. Sin embargo no fuimos por la comida pero siempre es un plus. La bebida bien (no bebemos alcohol), pero el Batman de la piscina (Fredi), muy grosero, supongo por el estrés. El cuarto muy limpio y cómodo, sin lujos pero repito por el precio rebasó las expectativas

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 7 nights to celebrate our 50th birthdays. This was his first trip to Mexico my 4th it started out great, loved the snorkeling (recommend taking your own gear), buffet was good esp. for breakfast then he got sick. The staff was wonderful during this time checking on him, bringing him soup, fruit and we finally visited the dr. he was awesome. He rallied and we were able to enjoy the final days and the restaurant Beloved was our overall favorite the staff, romantic setting, the food was great the steak was far better then the Grill. The resort overall is just the right size and a lot of activities the entertainment staff was fun and got everyone moving. Didn't care for the bars opening at 11 but, made sense to help control people over drinking. One thing I do wish was available was the option to have snacks and drinks brought to the beach. Liked we could rent a golf cart (not through the hotel) and drive to shopping, restaurants and the Dolphin Discovery. Overall we would return to this resort and bring our kids. But, wish they had bigger family suites.

We enjoyed the resort itself, lots of activities, nice beaches and plenty of pools and seating. The restaurants and buffet were mostly nice, we were disappointed with the quality of food at the grill. Our air conditioner was leaking, it got fixed and then the ceiling by the door began leaking, that got fixed and then our bathroom ceiling started leaking, and the room itself is in need of renovation

This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. There are many pools to swim and hang out. Also a very nice beach area. The beds were comfortable and we loved our balcony in our room. We were there for a family wedding and it couldn’t have been any better. My only negative was that we couldn’t make a dinner reservation until 8:00 am that day online. But by 8:05 it was fully booked unless we wanted to eat at 9:00 pm. Luckily there are several restaurants and even the buffet had decent food. We never did get into the Italian restaurant the entire week. I was disappointed. That being said, I still gave this 5 stars. I have been to several all inclusive resort’s and I found this one outstanding.

We stayed in the Privileged Family Suite. The room was very dark and smelled moldy. We didn't like it at all. The small pool on the terrace was very outdated. The food in the buffet was fine but nothing really amazing. We preferred the restaurants for dinner (especially the Bloved and Grill) and didn't have any problems to make a reservation. Drinks were often made with the fake alcohol brands. I guess you need to tip a lot to get the true brand. The beach for Privileged guests was nice and quiet; very shallow and good for small kids. I was a little disappointed with the kids club - the inside area was ugly and animators seemed that they didn't like their job at all.

Really loved the catalonia. Only downfall was the food. The buffet was average slightly different every day but definitely not bad . The sit down dinners you need to book at 8am its an absolutely ridiculous system and the sit down food honestly isnt good enough to deal with the process. Overall great stay and friendly staff

They did not treat me and girlfriend with no VIP treatment. And the Hotel double charged be for 2 of my payment that I paid on arrival. And didn’t nothing for the inconvenience for the double charges. For the say of 995.14 and my check out fee for 141.41 that paid for. Blamed all the charges on you guys “Expedia”
