Upon arrival, I was shocked to find that the hotel resembled a construction site. There were visible signs of ongoing construction, which detracted from the overall ambiance of the hotel. Many of the amenities that I had looked forward to were not available during my stay. Despite showing up as available online, amenities such as kayaking and paddle boarding were not operational, and there were no guests using the equipment. The food options at the hotel were extremely limited. There were bugs in the salad bar, and many items, including the steak for dinner, were unavailable. The bread and dessert were also the same as what was offered at lunch, and the soup was served cold. When I raised these concerns with the assistant manager, I was met with condescending comments and dismissive responses. The assistant manager made remarks such as "I ate dinner here and didn't see any issues," "No one else is complaining," and "If you have complaints, talk to Expedia." Additionally, the general manager refused to speak with me directly, choosing instead to communicate through the assistant manager. Overall, our experience at your hotel was extremely disappointing and marred what was supposed to be a special Mother's Day celebration for our family. We are deeply dissatisfied with the level of service and hospitality that we received and will not be returning to your hotel in the future.

Visited this property Mother’s Day weekend was hoping to have a great time since we had been there before! Property charged us full price, but did not have any water sports activities available, the Food was very limited with not a lot of options! Lunch and dinner was pretty much the same food! On top of that, the bread was hard as a rock, and there were flies in the salad bar. When we went to complain to the manager, he was super rude and condescending, saying that we were the only ones who felt that way meanwhile at least three other people came up to complain during this time! My family and I didn’t even end up spending the night. That is how disgusted and disappointed we were! Our weekend was ruined and all they could offer us was $35 back for resort fee! SMH never again

The management was awful. We were promised many different refunds by the concierge due to the pools and many other amenities being unavailable but then was told that was impossible by the manager. We were only able to get a partial refund if we left THAT day while people who only came for a day pass got a day and a half refund. There were barely any people on the resort due to the amenities being decreased but even then they could not offer anything to help with the fact that suddenly the pools were out of order as well other than telling us to leave. Our room also was entered by a staff member without knocking or stating their presence and the best they could do was offer an "upgrade" as our toilet and shower were also not working. It ended up being the same room with a slightly better view. I am extremely disappointed and upset with my stay here and the treatment of all the difficulties that arose during our stay. I would not attend again.

The floor in the room was filthy, the bottom of our feet were filthy, when you got in the shower the tub was dirty from the bottom ofour feet. I told the person at the desk, she said she would let housekeeping know. So they cleaned the floors and poured the dirty water and sand in the tub. The breakfast was cold, and the dinner choices were dry. It was all inclusive but you still had to pay for parking. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

The property is under construction so it’s hard to tell what it would be complete, but it was a great stay! The staff was friendly, everything was clean and my kids had a great time. I would love to go again when it’s finished, would highly recommend for people with kids to enjoy.

The property is getting renewed. Because the hotel has been there for over 30 years it of course needs renovations, which we hope are done fast. Food was great in the dining area ( their service in there is amazing). Drinks were good. Entertainment was great. Snacks can improve ( burgers and hot dogs should be included). Came here for part of my honeymoon, what a mistake we made. Booked 3 months in advance for them to call me a week before our trip saying some of the amenities were down. When we checked in almost all of the amenities were down. There was only 1 of 3 pools open. The “beach” was only about 15 yards long due to “construction” the all inclusive aspect of it was only to what they had not truly an all inclusive experience. Overall I would say that I wish we would have never spent the money to come here for our honeymoon. It was very disappointing… On top of all of they they tried to charge a $35 amenity fee per day when there wasn’t really any amenities. I would never recommend someone to stay here

I like the overall atmosphere and vibe. Would like to have more food choices such as more beef and turkey products for those who don’t eat pork. More music varieties, such as hip-hop, and R&B. A place to party and dance such as a club or lounge. More space for adults to be adults and not have to worry about being around children. I will read this place 7 out of 10.

Under renovations without warning ⚠️
Right from the start there were issues. Checking in was a hassle, rates are not as stated on website. Charged $50 per day instead of the listed $39. The room was clean, the bed was very uncomfortable. They use cheap box springs that make even a decent mattress bad. Most of the resort was closed off with fencing or caution tape. The little beach area was not conveniently accessible with about an 18” step down with no rail or handicap access. And, was closed off to less than half the normal usage area. The food was minimal, cold even at the beginning of designated feeding times. I would give this trip a 2 compared to my last stay just a few months ago.

Items we liked; all-inclusive property within U.S., beautiful location, grounds and grounds keeping, friendly staff, all common areas were very clean, size of the room, and room layout. Items we would change, the bathrooms are outdated, and need tile work, caulk and deep cleaning, shower heads where not functioning appropriately, adult pool bar hours were very limited, better explanation when booking on how all-inclusive alcohol works, possible offer different level alcohol packages.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food was great with a large variety to chose from. The bartenders were super friendly and always available! Kayaking was fun, although you were restricted to staying in sight from the beach, most likely for safety concerns but it was still nice to go out on the water. The adult pool had great views of the sunset. Overall I was satisfied with our stay and would go again!

Overpriced, the resort looked like it used to be fabulous, but they have not maintained it. Staff looks tired and unhappy. Food is buffet-style, however not hot... By the time you sit to eat, the food is cold! Resort fees including taxes each day is $39.40 and $15 to park each day. Where did all the grass go?

Overall the trip was peaceful. The room was filthy and unpleasant. While in the room I did not feel like I was on vacation. It felt like a low budget emergency motel. I wiped several mystery splatters off of the wall myself with a Clorox wipe. The cleaning services does not pay attention to detail. Food/beverage was good. There is no room service. Pools and bars close early. Visitors must pay for a resort pass even if they are not interested in any activities. We had family close that wanted to stop by and say hello and they had to pay $105 to do so. There is no food allowed in the room. Our toddler was tired and did not want to get up for breakfast. When I inquired about a container, this is what I was told. I would not go back and if I were not there with my husband/children I would have requested a refund and returned home.

High quality food, room had a distinct old odor, room had many cosmetic defects of wear and tear, no ice machines exist for ice in room, nice pools and bar area, family oriented atmosphere & live daily band. Limited drink options to include up-sell choices. We enjoyed our stay.
