We went above and beyond for this guest. She requested an early check in 4 hours prior to normal check in time, we granted this with no extra cost. She requested to host a private dinner function for the first night that would include 20 people. We agreed to this for the first night of her stay at no additional cost. We have security cameras outside the home facing the private dock where the owner keeps his boat and jet skis. Lake Osoyoos is notorious for high winds and the security cameras allow us to monitor the safety of the boats. It came to our attention on the 2nd day, that there were 17 people standing on our small dock and the concern was the weight load, plus we hadn’t authorized 17 people to be at the home that day. We notified the guest about our concerns and asked what her intentions were for the remainder of her stay. She assured me they were all leaving, but later texted me to say that additional people were coming for dinner again that night. The hot tub is in the pictures because it’s located on the large patio. We can’t remove the hot tub from the picture however we make sure to comment that the hot tub is not included in the reservation. Overall, we are glad to hear this guest felt the property was great! Fantastic location, nicely furnished, very spacious, comfortable, well stocked and that they had a great stay.
