It’s clean except for the pool and was told it was heated in tower one, but unfortunately, it wasn’t. It’s quiet. I like that there’s no pets or smoking allowed.

The property was very dated and not well maintained. Dirty broken water fountain, broken baseboards, dust in one bedroom and bathroom, entry doors to checkin were in major need of paint. Overall the condo was nice but some of the furnishings were not in the best of shape. We chose this resort on the 8.4 rating, but would only give it a 6.

We were there for the college softball games since our daughter coaches one of the teams. We ended up across the street. The gave us a corner room and we could see the ocean and the Lagoon. My husband and I stayed for a weekend getaway and were totally pleased. Check-in was extremely quick and easy. Everyone on staff was very pleasant and responsive. There was plenty of parking across the street at their other tower. The property was very clean and updated. The room was just as described (1 bedroom condo w/king bed). It was also very clean. We could smell that when we entered the room. That is very important these days. Even though it is a family vacation spot it was very quiet and peaceful. We were also given the option for a 5pm check out at a very discounted rate which was AWESOME. We were able to sleep in on check out day, go to breakfast, do some shopping and then come back and check out. We will definitely return and bring the whole family! And I will be referring friends, family and customers to Prince Resorts.

The place was horrible. I got chills the first minute I got there. The place did not look like what it did on here. You can tell they got the furniture form SHEIN or temu. The furniture was not sturdy the bed felt like rocks. Beside the bed it had a window what’s the point that is creepy. After I went to prince I went to Avista and it was amazing. Even though they work together you wouldn’t tell. Prince is shameful and avista is amazing and comfortable. My overall rate for prince hotel 1/10

Disappointing stay this time :(
Our usual spot when in SC. Unfortunately this time, one of our rooms had a broken king size bed. We already were minus one bed due to a booking error so that made things worse. The entrance door had no weather strip. We couldn’t keep the place warm due to this issue and unfortunately, weather was in the 20’s. Needless to say..we were freezing. The dishwasher was leaking as well. Definitely more issues than we’ve ever encountered before. Check in staff were friendly per usual! Will stay here again but will definitely inspect all beds and doors next time. I did speak to staff about issues to make sure they were aware of these issues.

Palace at Cherry Grove Pier: more cons than pros.
We stayed in an oceanside two-bedroom suite. We were provided with a room in tower 1- #804. Pros: Good location- on the beach but away from tourist attractions. Great beach access Clean furniture (see cons below) Clean bed-linens and pillows Good newer appliances (we used fridge, washer and drier during our stay) Room flooring, carpet and paint were in good condition. Cons: One of two balcony sliding door locks were broken. All venue elevators are in poor condition with dirty walls and extremely worn rubber flooring. These details did not make a good first impression. Sleeper couch cushion offered little support. Not comfortable to watch tv for more than 30 mins. King bed was well-worn, offering a hammock-like experience (we prefer firm beds) Upon arrival, there were hairs in one of the tubs and sinks. Everywhere else in the bathrooms was clean. There was excessive dust on the ceiling fans and AC duction outlets. It was extremely disturbing to see very large cracks in the concrete of the pool level of tower 2. Would we stay here again: Probably not due to the condition of the property and mediocre cleanliness. This was my first time booking thru hotels.com and considering the mismatch between the review rating (4.2 out of 5) and our actual experience, I would hesitate to trust the online ratings for anything less than a near-perfect score.

We had a nice room and the staff was helpful and friendly, however due to technology issues our Check-in was frustrating. Computers were down and we were not able to get a room key until 11:30 that night. I understand it was not the staff members fault. However for our inconvenience thought maybe we could receive a complimentary room or disco to make up for our inconvenience. Thank you
