I really appreciated the hotel, the gym, the restaurant, the security and the surrounding services. Unfortunately, I had left my new car in the official garage of the Hilton Midtown hotel. My car was damaged by Valet parking. The rear bumper was significantly damaged. The hotel is not responsible for any damage to the car. I am in process with the external owner of the garage for compensation….

Très bien situé, à 5 min de Central Park et 10 min de Time Square. Belle chambre, bien équipée, propre. Par contre, le personnel de la réception pas très serviable avec les non-américains, à donner des explications qu’à moitié et à rouler les yeux quand on ne comprenait pas leur réponse, car incomplète. Vraiment décevant pour un hôtel de cette catégorie.

Our experience at the Hilton Hotel was disappointing. We have expected a much proper room: Wi-Fi was very poor. It kept on disconnecting. Most importantly, the washrooms were not up to date. It’s not like in the picture at all. However, customer service was good and the location was convenient to access most of the tourist attractions.

In 2011 my family stayed at this property. The rooms were lovely, the staff was amazing and the location was perfect walkable and convenient. A couple years back there were renovations going on here. Never did I expect the mediocre experience we had and then it got worse. Our “Presidential Suite” was lack luster and had several faulty items. Mirrors, lights, iron..etc… But most baffling was the room fit to accommodate 6 guest only had 2 blankets. When we ordered 3 additional pillows and blankets 1 pillow was brought to our room and told sorry we don’t have anymore pillows or blankets. And not to mention the custom decorations that i stressed on ordering and making sure they would arrive on time. They arrived on time But the hotel Held them hostage for over 6 hours… stating that’s the way their system works. Once package was received we secured it in our room and headed out for the day. Upon return I discovered the package had been removed with out consent. The package yet to be found. There goes the big room surprise for my Godsons special 15th Birthday.

The hotel is in a good location. Walking distance to a lot. As a Hilton member, I was expecting a little more relative to the upkeep of the room. Furniture needs updating and the bathroom is WAY…… too small. I had an executive suite and while we worked it out - I was just expecting more from this name brand.

Althought the bathroom appeared clean there was an odor that was present in the bathroom from arrival to departure. I think the tools used to clean the room may have been the cause for the odor. It was not pleasant but since we were only there three days and there was a teachers convention we tolerated it.

BED BUGS. We found BED BUGS (which were identified and confirmed by a hotel security staff member) in our hotel room at the Hilton Midtown. Please please please reconsider booking with this hotel. What a nightmare!!! I have tried getting in contact with the manager of the hotel on several occasions regarding our horrific stay, but no response from him (William Z.). Please DO NOT stay here, you will regret it.

The hotel itself was good and the room was comfortable and clean. However, checking in was an absolute NIGHTMARE! After an endless line and a 40-minute wait, we were finally able to check in. In fact, the long lines to check in died down after 11 p.m. Also, the reception staff could have been a lot nicer. One of our keys wasn't working, but neither the concierge nor the front desk could issue my husband a replacement key because the reservation was not under his name. They told him to wait outside the room for a security person who would help him get inside the room. Well, that security person never arrived, and he had to wait for me to return to the hotel 40 minutes later so that he could use my key to enter the room. I don't understand how one can pay a ridiculous amount of money to stay at a hotel like this and receive no guest service whatsoever. So, if you find a comparable hotel in the area, check the reviews to see if the guest service is better and stay there instead. The summary: good hotel; horrific guest service.

チェックイン/アウトは長蛇の列ながら流れは早い。エレベータもほぼ待たずに来る。 ただし、部屋の設備は期待ハズレ、コーヒーもケトルもバスローブも無い。 最悪なのはベッドメイク、掃除はしてあったが、タオルが置いてない。シャワー浴びてから帰国しようと思っていたが気づくのが遅く諦めた。 深夜便だったので、タオルは要求せず19:00にチェックアウトしてJFKに向かった。 多分二度と選ばない。

Very clean and neat hotel. Extremely busy and crowded place. Some room decor could be updated and it would be nice to have complimentary water bottles at least on the first day. The front desk staff was absolutely uninterested in efficient assistance to the very long line of guests. Several of them were inside Reception and only one helping Honors guests, NONE helping non-honors guests. When concern was expressed to staff, they looked very annoyed and did not even address or apologize to the line - it took us about 45 min to check in with only 3 people ahead of us in line. Booked two queen beds - hotel gave us one king and a sofa bed and said will send Bedding to room (for sofa bed). At 9:30 pm we had to go down, WAIT in the line again, and request the bedding which had not arrived at the room. The PHONE in the room was NOT WORKING so we had to go downstairs. Hotel gives a voucher for $35 day credit for using local restaurant per day. The final invoice had 3 dinners at Herb Kitchen, and only ONE credit, not three credits of $35. When error was pointed out, it was met by cold silence, not even an apology. Invoice was corrected, reprinted, and shoved to me face down, as if it was a huge inconvenience. Upon departure, Taxi cab that hotel hailed, demanded from us to pay in Cash or via Zelle. Proceeded to LIE that he started his meter late, even though hotel staff told driver which we heard - that there is a flat fee to JFK. Proceeded to DEMAND a Tip of $25, no less. Driving was awful, hitting breaks and having us slam against front seats and loud speaker blaring adjacent to headrests of back seat, windows wide open at 8:30 am to JFK.

Waited in line for over one hour to check in to a room that really was nothing special. Rude gift shop cashier and long lines to get on the elevator too. LAST Hilton stay EVER!
