Habitué de New York je séjourne habituellement sur ma Manhattan mais j ai choisi cette fois ci Brooklyn car moins cher J ai adoré le calme du quartier loin du bruit de Manhattan et je dois dire que les nuits en ont été plus tranquilles Par ailleurs l hôtel est à proximité de nombreuses lignes de métro qui permettent de se rendre à Manhattan en 15 à 20 minutes Parfait je recommande cet hôtel

Bon hôtel de façon générale pour le prix. Propre et personnel très sympathique et aidant. Bon emplacement. Chambre petite, mais avec tous les équipements de base.. On était au 3e étage et entendait/sentait le métro passer. On entendait aussi les gens dans le couloir avec leurs chiens ainsi que la télé de notre voisin de chambre. Mais avec des bouchons d'oreilles, j'ai beaucoup mieux dormi pendant les nuits subséquentes.

Employees at the property were not very friendly. Policy of the property were not accommodating at all. We stayed from 19th April till 23rd April and was due to return again from 30th April till 03rd May. It costs $10 per night to leave luggages there even though we were coming back. After checking out, it costs $1.81 for each piece of luggage as our flight was later in the evening. My friends stayed at Holiday Inn opposite the street and there were no such charges. Policy should be more accommodating. Stay at holiday inn, the rooms are similar quality and complimentary late check out is till 2pm instead of Even hotel which is 12pm. Staff at Even hotel are not accommodating at all. Both are under IHG but much difference in staffs’ attitude.

Staff was rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional, and lacked empathy. I TRAVELED from New Haven, Connecticut via train and subway, I was told they do not accept Chime or any prepaid cards. When I questioned, why it never was displayed on expedia, they said it should have been, there is nothing they can do to help me, I had to give them another card or sleep on the streets of New York.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the water in the lobby as I couldn’t get the ice/water dispensers on the upper floors to work. I’m not a big fitness person but I did use the foam roller provided in the room! Wish the room had a microwave. The proximity to the 2/3 train was perfect for my trip! Would definitely stay here again

Stayed for a week obviously resulting in a healthy sized bill so was surprised that following checkout we were advised that to hold our luggage while we went for food would cost $1.60 per item!!!.... It's the little things!

My son and I stayed for 5 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We included the breakfast in our stay, it was a menu of about 8 dishes, and you ordered from a staff member and they cooked it fresh for you. It was a 3 minute walk from parking, and a 3 minute walk to the A line that takes you anywhere you want to go in NYC. All in all a very good stay, and I will choose this hotel again.

Hotel has the decor of a converted hospital room at the price (even for NYC) of a four star establishment. The room was not serviced once during our three night stay despite repeated requests to service it. It lacked basic amenities such as glasses for water in the bathroom, yet charges a nightly “amenities fee.” Bad value, will not stay here again.

The people were very nice but the property seemed unfinished (e.g, baseboards were ripped off on my floor). Service was meh — I had to ask several times to get help with the coffee maker in my room. But when someone did come he was very nice. Everyowas a little DIY for me - maybe it for others.

The hotel was great- the only issue I have is they only have decaf k-cups in room for coffee. I called down to request caffeine and the front desk said they don’t put caffeine in rooms, but I could come downstairs for a complementary cup. I was leaving to catch a flight and walking 6 blocks to the LIRR with a big suitcase. I can’t balance a coffee cup with that and didn’t have time to run up and downstairs. It’s just a silly policy. Please change. Everything else was great!

The front desk staff were outstanding, welcoming and always willing to give guidance about the city. The gentleman in the dining area was gracious and encouraging. I really enjoyed the detachable shower head and extra safety bars in the tub. In addition, absolutely loved that you need the room key to operate the elevator. That made me feel safer

The overall rating for the Even Hotel is because they imposed a $25 per night destination fee on our 6 night reservation without informing us before we reserved the room. While they claim we were told in our confirmation letter, that notice could only have been in very small print, if it existed at all! We also prepaid and had a nonrefundable room rate., so telling us about the fee as we are checking in is completely unethical.
