Bâtiment historique à l'emplacement idéal au bord du lac et à deux pas du centre ville. Difficultés au check in : la chambre réservée a été échangée contre une chambre bas de gamme en mauvais état. Il a fallu réclamer pour avoir la chambre payée. L'hôtel est ancien et pas en très bon état. Service lent et laborieux au bar. Café offert le matin dans le lobby. Piscine non chauffée donc pas utilisable.

If you’re looking for a 5 star hotel, this is not the place for you. But if you’re looking for a relaxing charming place to stay, then this is the place. Conveniently located to dining and shops. Water front view is breathtaking.

Loved the beautiful property, right on Lake Dora. The sunsets were spectacular. The room was comfortable. The restaurants were right on property a d very good. Mt. Dora is a nice small town with lots of shopping and eateries to choose from. We walked everywhere, no need to move the car from the property. Definitely recommend a stay here.

The view of the lake was outstanding! Entertainment in the bar was a talented pianist and drinks were great. The porch rockers and tables were really nice. It had old world charm. Don’t expect a modern hotel room here. Creaky steps and comfortable beds welcome guests.

Lakeside Inn is a step into the past. It is Charming! The area is great for dining and shopping. A great spot for a girls weekend or wedding. The landscaping around the property is Very well maintained.

We were in an upstairs room with no elevator across the street from the main building. I am 82 and have back problems and going up and down the stairs was somewhat difficult. There was no coffee in our room. The complimentary coffee was in the lobby across the street.

The lake was stunning at sunset. The front desk person Nicholas was not very friendly. We asked to check in early ( 2 hours) and was told room was not ready. The inn was NOT full by any means. Room needed some attention also.

Property is very historic and unique, lakefront, and inviting. Definitely not cookie cutter. Good dining, bar, and front porch food. Nice pool and patio close to lake. Also a great boat tour available at their dock.

The property is beautiful. The porch has an amazing view of the lake. We were not impressed with the room. I understand that the hotel is historic and rooms will would basic. However, the dust around the baseboards and bed frame was an inch thick. The bathroom was clean but we had a spider issue. I killed 5 spiders on the sink. The mattress on the bed was so old it sagged in the middle. The bed frame squeaked. It squeaked if you sat, lied or rolled over. Our room was in the main building on the end. An air conditioner unit outside the bathroom made noise most of the night. We did let the management know that we were unhappy with the room. The Inn could be exceptional with a few fixes: beds, dusting and pest control. The Inns property is beautiful it’s too bad the rooms are not.

i expected a normal queen size bed; did not understand that they were full size. the carpet and bedding and curtains and doors all need an upgrade. even though this is a historic hotel it needs major upgrades !

The location of this property is great. Right in the center of shopping and dining. The view of the lake is beautiful. Because it is an old property, you can definitely feel it. It smells old, the carpet is old and dirty. It would be great if slippers were provided because we can’t walk barefoot or with socks on, it was that dirty. There’s no microwave or refrigerator in the room, not even a chair. I wouldn’t go back again.
