It’s up on the hill. The lake view from the balcony is breathtaking. The front office is open from 8am -8pm. The staffs are very nice.

For almost € 300,- per night in a de luxe twin room is ridiculous. This old fashioned hotel without any service for drinks or breakfast with the most basic room I have ever experienced in hotel does not at all deserves a 4 star ranking. 2 stars is already too much.

Firstly, the staff were excellent and this review does not reflect on them. The hotel was like it was out of "The Shining". After 6pm there were no staff at all in the entire building and music was playing on empty corridors. Very spooky. The restaurant was closed, there was no bar, there was no breakfast other than some croissants and coffee. The rooms were basic and sparse,however the view was magnificient. Location was good just a short bus journey of 15 min walk into town. It desperately needs life injecting into it with a bar, 24/7 staff , a restaurant etc etc. We won't stay again until that changes.

Absolutely lovely lake views from the front facing rooms. The hotel has a simple business model (light on staff, no cooked meals, no room service ) which makes it an excellent choice if looking for an affordable but special place to stay. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel was really nice, but the reception is only open til 5pm. And the hotel feels very empty, I’m not sure I would stay there as a solo traveller. Also they didn’t open the kitchen for breakfast, they did provide croissants but nothing to have them with like butter, Jam etc so they were quite dry. The hotel is in a good area, near the lake & a nice swimming spot. Maybe not good for someone who isn’t able to walk far, as it is up a hill and about a 20 minute walk from the centre.

L' hotel, se cosi si può definire, non ha reception dopo le 17, le camere senza aria condizionata, ne frigo bar, i materassi infossati, arredamento meno che minimale, televisore vecchio di dieci (almeno) anni, non ha parcheggio e ti devi fare 3 o 400 metri di salita ripida per tornare. Le cose positive sono una vista spettacolare sul lago e la colazione offerta.

This is a beautiful old hotel. The rooms have high ceilings and balconies overlooking the lake. It reminded me of days gone by, before hotels became sleeping appliances. We met the manager - a very nice woman. She has leased the hotel from the building owner and is starting the process of getting it up to speed but we had everything we needed - a beautiful room, clean bathroom, coffee and croissants in the morning included. We would highly recommend this hotel to people who like charm and the personal touch.

Therefore I am highly suprised by your rating for us. After your check out, we found a few clothing items in your room and called you to find out, if you would like us to ship your left overs. Unfortunaltley those seamed to have been dispposed by you in your lake view room. An awesome hotel, great location, great staff that were so helpful. Two things I actually take the blame on missing would be no air conditioning and I thought when the listing had bed and breakfast and showed a dining area that looked to be set up for breakfast that they would offer breakfast…at least more than a croissant and espresso. They were good yes but was hoping for a more substantial breakfast even for a cost. Perhaps fans in the rooms?
