Bon séjour dans l’appartement qui convient parfaitement quand on est à Londres pour visiter. L’annonce ne précise cependant pas qu’il se trouve en sous sol donc relativement sombre.

Appartement assez spacieux et calme, bien situé.
Nous avons passé 10 jours dans cet appartement en plein mois d’août, une famille avec 2 enfants de 10 et 12 ans. Il s’agit d’un appartement en dessous du niveau de la route, ce qui était assez atypique pour nous. Malgré un extérieur pas très attrayant (passage dans des escaliers assez étroits, dégagements pas super entretenus côté route), malgré les grillages aux fenêtres et les 4 serrures à la porte, nous nous sommes sentis très bien dans cet appartement. En effet, le quartier est calme et rassurant, les voisins très discrets. Quelques sirènes de temps en temps (st Mary’s hospital pas très loin) et le bruit de quelques rutilents bolides Porsche ou Aston Martin sur Gloucester Terrace, mais rien qui nous a empêchés de bien nous reposer après de longues journées de visite. L’intérieur de l’appartement est conforme aux images, tout fonctionnait très bien, beaucoup de prises électriques disponibles. Avec un matelas un peu plus ferme (vraiment trop mou à mon goût) et un canapé clic-clac un poil plus large et de meilleure qualité (suffisant pour deux enfants assez petits, mais pas pour deux adolescents), nous aurions mis un 5/5 à cet appartement. Merci à John pour sa réactivité lors de nos échanges pour la réservation. Merci à Domi pour son accueil et sa gentillesse lors du check-in et du check-out. Nous recommandons cet appartement fonctionnel et bien situé.

Very clean and well decorated flat. Flat decription very accurate. Meeting instructions Ok Location very central (10mn access to Tube or Train station / 20mn walk to HydePark / supermarket very close too) and very calm. London transportation being extremely expensive we made the choice to stay central and this was really worth (by the way, London Pass + Oyster transportation card is really recommended....) Appatment just under street level, so not much natural light if you plan to stay there during the day.... which of course would be a shame in London as there are so many things to visit!!! Washing machine available but no dryier though...so you need to hang your clothes during the day! Around 1 hour transportation time from City Airport by taxi and the same to Heathrow via Picadilly Line Little small though for a family of 5, especially as there is only one bathroom.... you really need to be organised especially with the kids if you want to leave at 9am as we did every morning! Small kitchen but very practical. No dishmachine though

London Flat near Paddington Station
This flat was in a great location, close to restaurants, bars, and Paddington Station. The flat was very clean and had lots of extra towels. Entering the apartment was a bit tricky (several keys to open front door) but that really wasn't a problem. Communication with John was excellent. We would stay here again.

The property is just as it appears as listed. It’s a good-sized space and relaxing. It’s a great location; close to the station, grocery stores and restaurants. We did cook in for some meals, so there were enough supplies in the kitchen. John was quick to repsond to any questions and was helpful. We would stay in this VRBO again.

Perfect place to stay in London
I booked this property at the last minute--flew to the UK to be there for the Queen's funeral. It is in a perfect and very safe location. If you know London at all, the Bayswater W2 address is very good. A short walk to Paddington Station, where the new Elizabeth Line also stops, so it's an easy ride to and from Heathrow. The bed was comfortable, the shower nice and hot, the sitting area very nice--just a few more lamps needed. Will definitely stay here again. And it's quiet!

Location Location Location
Spent 9 days here and I'm glad I jumped on it as it seems to book up quickly. It was a fist trip to the UK for my teens to see their cousins on their turf and they really loved this place. It was clean, had enough space, well equipped with excellent wifi (enough for all of us to get work, school and streaming). The location, location location made it so easy for even my teens to navigate to almost anywhere in the city. I appreciated the emphasis on security with the extra locks (you'll get the hang of them) on doors and windows. It's a beautiful neighborhood but no place is ever 100% safe. As a mom traveling with her kids, I felt very safe & secure in the unit. There's plenty of room for vacation rental and plenty of hot water. Watch your step in and out the shower, it can get a little slippery. Thanks to John for the excellent communication and housekeeping (ran into her checking in and she was lovely and helpful). Thanks y'all. We'll probably rent here again.

Fabulous!
This is a lovely spacious apartment 2 blocks from Paddington station and so close to all the other attractions this area has to offer. If you don’t want to walk somewhere there is public transport to anywhere you wish almost on your door step. It’s an elegant and safe area to stay. The apartment is very spacious with excellent facilities. I would definitely stay there again.

The flat was comfortable, with good size rooms. The kitchen was well-equipped; plenty of hot water; the bathroom had lots of shelf/storage space, which is not always the case in rentals. Pretty Paddington Pad
Great location midway between Paddington and the local supermarket. Very homey and comfortable, quiet, and a nice place to come back to after a long day sightseeing. Ticked all the boxes for us and would recommend for a couple or small family.

Great, quiet location for our family with one teen and one child. Flat was a little damp due to it being in the basement but not uncomfortable. It meant our clothing needed a little extra time to dry. The cool was welcomed during a few very hot summer days. The pull-out couch was a little worn. Otherwise, kitchen was great for breakfast and packing lunch, bathroom was large, king bed comfortable. Easy access to bus and train lines. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Comunicazione veloce e precisa col proprietario, check in facile e cortese. Pur valutando l'appartamento da 5 stelle, il divano letto è piuttosto scomodo e l'aspetto poco curato (macchie). Suggerirei di scrivere nell'annuncio, per maggior trasparenza, che ci sono delle scale piuttosto strette per arrivare all'appartamento che è sotto il livello della strada.

Perfect location next to Paddington
My wife and I stayed here for a little over a week with our three kids (5, 3 and 1). The place was the perfect size for our family and suited us nicely. The location next to Paddington Station was ideal as we were visiting her family west of London, but also wanted to sight-see. It was an easy walk from the flat through Hyde Park to many of the local attractions. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a central location with great access.

This apartment was the perfect place for our family London vacation. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood and Paddington Station is a 5 minute walk with several Underground lines, Heathrow Express, and the train. The apartment is comfortable and clean with plenty of space for our family of 4. The kitchen made it easy to pick up some groceries at Paddington for breakfast and a couple of dinners. We would definitely stay here again.

Great for a family, terrific location
Really well-kept and well-equipped apartment. Clean unit, responsive host. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable bed. Shower and bathroom were great. Five mins to Waitrose supermarket and about seven to Paddington Station. Noise from street and upstairs was less than expected and more than tolerable. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, very happy. Good little flat.
Great location and nice place. While my friends all complained about hot water issues, this shower rocked. The downside was the mold stains on ceiling but honestly shower worked great. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. The bed was a bit odd feeling but I slept fine. I think it could use a better mattress perhaps.

Charming, good location, but could use some upgrades
The owner was completely responsive and accommodating. He made everything very easy!The flat is in an ideal area between Paddington Station and Bayswater. It's a very close walk to nearby shops and restaurants, and an easy 15 minute walk to Hyde Park. The flat is cheerfully adorned and quite cozy. However, there are a few improvements that could be made: the mattress and pillows in the bedroom are very uncomfortable. The Ikea towels were a bit thread worn, with one having a hole in it. It would be nice if they could leave a couple extra towels in addition to the one per person. The bathroom itself is updated, but there was mildew on the ceiling and soap scum in the shower door. The kitchen was nicely appointed, but the sponge for washing dishes was old and heavily used. We ended up buying our own sponges to avoid using it. I actually really liked the flat, but they could do some cheap, quick fixes that would make it even better.

John and his team were professional, friendly, and responsive. We can't say enough good things about them and would absolutely stay again. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and thoughtfully outfitted with everything you would need as a traveler. Even though it is below ground, there's a lot of light. It's easy walking distance from a number of tube stops, Hyde Park, pubs, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. and in that sense the location was ideal. It was a bit noisy at times and the apartment is not insulated to sound but it's a city, so that should be expected. If we had any complaints/suggestions, the linens were clean but had really seen better days (stains on the white towels, etc.). They were clearly cheap to begin with and it wouldn't be costly to replace them - it would make a big difference in perception of quality.

Nice apartment in a good location
We had a family holiday (kids 9 and 11) in this nice apartment. It has pretty much everything you need to stay a few days or even longer. Everything was working well and the place was clean. The location is good with Paddington station c 10 min walk, yet it is a quiet neighborough. We took the Heathrow express to P and it was very quick and easy (cheeper if you book beforehand). The apartment is on the below ground - level so there's no view whatsoever, but that was told beforehand. Separate blankets would have been nice instead of a big one, specially for the kids :-) But all together we can recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a practical and nice stay in London. Good location, but in need of maintenance.
Positive Location of the flat, nearby Paddington tube station, as well as many restaurants and bars within 15 mins walking. The booking host, and representative who met us was responsive and accommodating. Negative Door locks in need of maintenance. The flat is on a subterranean level, which meant it is quite dark (photos on this site appear quite bright). The mattress and both pillows provided were old and clumpy.

Overall, a nice place
We stayed here on our visit to London in July 2016 and had a great time. The place is a 5-10 minute walk from Paddington, so it was very convenient. This is a 1 bedroom with a pull out couch when held 2 adults and a teenager comfortably, but if you had 2 smaller children, it'd be fine too. The unit is on the lower level and 1/2 below the street level, which turned out to be nice. There wasn't any AC in the unit, but being on the lower level like this, it never really got hot inside, even though it was outside. The owner/property manager is very responsive through VRBO and followed up with us the day before we arrived. She was in the unit when we arrived and went through the whole unit quickly and let us get settled in. Overall the place is nice and clean and we enjoyed our visit.

Wonderful way to live like a local!
We've had a lovely 6 nights here in our flat this week. It is so great to have a place to be 'home' while away. This flat is quite roomy and provides just about all the comforts of home. The kitchen is well stocked with what you'll need to feel at home. There is a gas stove and an oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer (separate) and even a washer! (No dryer, but we found things dried quite quickly over night.). There is adequate flatware, plates, bowls, glasses, cups, etc. We made good use of the French press coffee maker. On evenings we were 'home' we enjoyed the TV, seemed to have a good selection of channels. The wi-if provided works very well (as this review testifies!). This is a very convenient location between two tube stations with access to several lines. There are nearby restaurants, pubs, shops (including grocery!). Paddington Station is very close for access to Heathrow Express. This is just a wonderful place to unpack and stay a week or more and feel you are "living" in London. And the best indicator? Yes. We'd stay here again!! The listing description is spot on. We had an early arrival to drop off luggage and the flat was being scrubbed and cleaned. It is very well maintained. The cleaner even showed us an issue with the shower that needed a part that was on order (which was fixed while we were here). John, the owner, was always prompt and helpful responding to questions. There is no doubt we would recommend this flat to friends and family.

Schöne, saubere und recht modern eingerichtete Wohnung
Tolle Wohnung! Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in London super geeignet! Auf den Fotos wirkt alles etwas größer, aber man ist ja eigentlich eh da um sich London anzuschauen. Haben mit vier Erwachsenen dort übernachtet, das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer ist recht schmal und auch nicht so gut gepolstert, aber war für uns ok! Auch im Bad sollte man sich nicht jede Ecke so genau anschauen, aber es fühlt sich trotzdem sauber an!
