This is a great place to stay in Lake City. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

We tried to cancel our booking with a refund due to our event being canceled because of a death in their organization. We were denied multiple times and the front desk Manager BJ was extremely obstinate and rude during the entire process. I did not cancel the rooms because we weren't being refunded. I was taken to the hospital Friday after I fainted in a work meeting (diagnosed with an inner ear infection) and could not drive to stay in the room. Though I did not stay on the property, they still took my money so I am entitled to my review of the staff and what I did experience. I can guarantee I will never recommend this hotel to anyone because of the staff.

I am sorry that you were disappointed but per Expedia's cancellation it states plainly, that the Cancellation Policy is as states: "ALL CANCELLATIONS FOR THIS RESERVATION ARE CHARGED THE FULL COST OF STAY." The reason you were able to get a discounted rate for the stay was the rate and the agreement that you made with Expedia which was you would not be able to cancel your reservation without being penalized. The hotel held your room in good faith and my hotel staff followed proper procedure.

I'm sorry that the noise was an issue for you. We do have rooms at the back of the hotel that our guests do ask for once they arrive and see that the front of our hotel does face the interstate. We do thank you for staying with us and we hope that if you are in the area again you stay with us again.

This Best Western Plus hotel in Lake City Florida was amazing! The staff was kind and helpful. Our room had everything we needed and was very clean. My favorite part were the unique staircase to the second floor at the entrance. I love elevators but I don’t like waiting for them, plus using the stairs helps tired legs after traveling all day. Breakfast was impressive, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles with strawberries or blueberries, and an assortment of pastries yogurt, etc. my only complaint, because I like to sleep with white noise, is that the wall unit didn’t have a “fan only” button. Other than that it was perfect!

The customer service was superb! I definitely recommend this location for cleanliness and customer service above all. My only negative... my room had carpet, which I am not a fan of... Also, I am unsure if all of the rooms are carpeted. Stay here and have a free fresh breakfast in the restaurant.

Our stay here was excellent. Had a 2 queen suite which had a fold out full size bed. Everyone was comfortable. Staff was friendly, accommodating and professional. 10/10 will stay here again.

We stayed here on a business trip for 5 nights. We could not seem to get clean towels in any of our rooms. The bedding was to be changed after the third night and was not done nor were the towels changed that night either. Spoke with the folks at the front desk they took down our room numbers and assured me our rooms would be done that day while we were out. Got back at midnight and found the rooms untouched again. Once again i spoke with the people at the front desk who gave us towels but struggle to understand how this happens. Our stay was over $ 5000.00 for all the rooms we had. I left my business card for the Manager and asked if they could give me a call as we checked out. Four days later i called her.. We spoke and she seemed to be unaware of any of our issues but would look into it and get back to me. Still waiting for that call. On a positive we left a bag in the room which they found, They called and did send it to me at my expense 3 weeks later. All of my issues should have been an easy fix yet they just seemed to drop the ball and don't seem to care they did..

Dear Mr. Smith,We are very sorry that you did not receive the services expected. We have corrected the issues surrounding your stay with us. All parties that were involved in not servicing your room have been reprimanded. Also, we are very happy that your bookbag made it safe as it took several trips to UPS because the shipping address given was different than the card holders account address, once that corrected it took 2 days to ship to you. As always, the front desk is available 24 hrs a day and were willing and offered to go up to your room on the final night and fully service your room in which you declined and just asked for clean towels. We are truly sorry for your stay being unpleasant. Again, we have made immediate corrective actions in the hopes that other guest rooms in the future are serviced as promised.
