The property was beautiful but the casitas are old and very out dated. We had ants crawling all over the room. Was not impressed.

La Quinta is a beautiful hotel on the exterior, and set in a quiet residential anrea. Unfortunately, the rooms were in drastic need of renovation, especially the bathrooms. I did appreciate the Mexican tile in the baths, but they probably had not been renovated in Many years. The food was excellent and there were a number of options. Breakfast opened early and that was a plus as well. Check in was poorly organized, without enough staff to handle the amount of guests. We received keys to our rooms 2 hours after the check in time despite being women in our seventies.

The front desk staff was very personable and helpful since I had to wait for my room at 9:00pm. I had a lovely meal in the restaurant and Marlene there is a gem, So accommodating and kind. However, very disappointed in the cleanliness of my patio, outside sofa and room itself was dated and comforter was grayish and needed to be replaced. I needed a towel to actually sit on the outdoor sofa. I understand the dust here but this hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. I expected more from all I heard about La Quinta Resort.

The entire complex is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The pools and hot tubs within the various casita areas are very nice, and because there are so many, they aren't crowded at all.

The resort was beautiful, and staff great. It was pretty crowded, couldn’t find space at the main pool, although it seemed to be spring break. The property was great, but there really was a lack of diversity in the type of visitors the resort had. No POC except for myself and a few others. Otherwise gorgeous resort just a little overcrowded.

The room they gave us upon our arrival was not good -located next to a busy street with a view of a wall. I had to upgrade to get a room that was suitable. They were not responsive to my emailed requests - they acknowledged that they had received them, but did not honor them when we checked in. Otherwise, the resort was very nice.

so we have been coming here since 2005 and we love this property, some things have changed some good and some bad.. it has gone way more corporate since new ownership i was disappointed when i reserved a certain room type paid and then after checking in they informed me it wasn't available ....which then i had a little attitude about and they after some speaking suddenly found my original room was available , but didn't need to go thru that experience all in all had a great time

What used to be an exquisite, almost incomparable property in a magical landscape has been transformed into a ho-hum experience by Hilton’s opting to choose “good” over “great” in every case to improve margins. (Except for food and beverage service, which is no longer even “good”.)
