Bof à cause des évents
À 30min de taxi (pas cher 4€) pour l’hyper centre ville, chambre au top avec vue et rooftop piscine sympa mais souvent en accès interdit à cause des événements ( si j’avais su, j’aurai changé de résa ) ça gâche tout !
On ne peut pas passer sur le rooftop ça gâche tout !!!

Hôtel qui n’est pas au niveau d’un 5 étoiles
Bel hôtel avec une très belle piscine mais c’est tout… petit déjeuner assez décevant avec peu de mets sucrés et peu de ravitaillement. Jus de fruits décevants. Beaucoup beaucoup de monde. Chambre un peu petite avec peu de rangements et salle de bain peu pratique avec le wc juste devant la sortie de la douche. Mais le pire a été le personnel avec une remarque que l’on ne m’avait jamais faite alors que j’ai l’habitude de voyager en Asie et dans des hôtels beaucoup plus luxueux que celui ci : A la piscine, on m’a dit que les photos prises avec un appareil photo étaient interdites!!! Et qu’il fallait utiliser son smartphone ou payer 2 millions de dôngs pour se servir de l’appareil photo. J’ai cru halluciner. Quand je pars en vacances, ce n’est pas pour prendre des photos avec mon smartphone. J’ai investi une somme d’argent non négligeable pour cet appareil donc c’est bien pour m’en servir. C’est vraiment lamentable de vouloir se faire de l’argent sur le dos de personnes qui ont payé pour passer deux nuits dans l’hôtel. Bref je ne recommande pas du tout

Rooms were smaller than expected. The staff could be more attentive to clients at least just acknowledgement that clients are standing there waiting. The roof top pool had to be the highlight of the hotel. Staff were really laid back, didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr gutem Service der einem 5 Sterne Haus entspricht. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich gut und sehr umfangreich. Der Pool ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, viele Fliesen sind bereits abgefallen, allerdings dennoch ein traumhaft schöner Pool mit tollem Ausblick. Es könnte mehr Liegemöglichkeiten geben. Die Liegen sind immer besetzt und man musste häufig mit Yogamatten auf die Bühne ausweichen. Einziges Manko: Leider war unser Zimmer nicht sehr sauber. Die Laken hatten bei Ankunft schwarze Flecken und auch auf den Kissen waren schwarze Flecken und der Fliesenboden, insbesondere im Bad war bereits seit unserer Ankunft sehr rutschig und schmierig. Wir haben dies dann versucht mit Handtüchern aufzuwischen um nicht ständig auszurutschen und wurden leider sehr irritierend beim Auschecken darauf angesprochen warum die Handtücher dreckig waren. Es war etwas peinlich sagen zu müssen dass wir den Boden damit reinigen mussten um nicht auszurutschen... Bis auf diese Sache war es aber ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Lovely hotel but no near anywhere that you’d want to see in HCM. The infinity pool was great but not much seating or lounges around the pool deck. Restaurants were very expensive by Vietnam prices and local food in the area is not easy to get if it’s your first time in the city. More convenient hotels which are nice are available.

Excellent breakfast, rooms, staff and oh that pool! I had a short stay there sadly due to a delayed flight but they were still able to accommodate my reservation. I would definitely stay at La Vela again next time I am in Saigon.

The top floor has a really big infinity pool, views in many directions, and a bar. There area is really large so the pool is not crowded even when the lounge chairs are taken. It's really nice. The only thing we encountered was one night (a Thursday night) the sky bar was occupied by a wedding and a birthday party, so it was loud and crowded with drunk people. I'm not even sure we were allowed there so we left. The night before it was a peaceful, relaxing place to grab a drink at night. The breakfast buffet was also quite good with a large variety of food stations and Vietnamese, Asian, Western, and Vegetarian choices. They also made lots of Vietnamese milk coffee so you could just grab one and not have to order and wait. Everything else was decent for this type of hotel except the elevators. Although there were a sufficient number in operation (4 or 5), they were erratic and not clear when they arrived or which direction they were going (and sometimes not stopping). The up and down buttons toggled so if someone pushed a button a second time, it turned off. No one is used to that. Almost every time we got in an elevator, someone (either us or someone else) was expecting it to be going the other direction. It's not a huge deal but it's weird. If you stay here, you will see. Otherwise all the staff was nice and the location is convenient to the airport, for grab pick up, and multiple restaurants and a family mart with a block if walking.

The rooftop-pool is amazing and the breakfast buffet is the best and the most various one I‘ve ever saw. There was just one missing thing: no hot (or cold) chocolate for the kids 😉

If I could I would give La Vela 10 stars review. From the moment i walked in the staff were super friendly and the check in/out process was seamless. Breakfast was included and the selections were huge (delicious food by the way). Also, I’d like to thank the manager Chi Bich Thuy and Dang. They went beyond and above great customer service! Thank you all.

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel. There are better options for the same price point. The food wasn’t great and was also inconsistent. Staff were nice and accommodating. The room was filthy. There is a casino that is located in the same building and because of the poor ventilation system our room ended up smelling like cigarettes and was very nauseating Food for breakfast was not good and limited options. The quality of the food for room service was great however they didn’t ask for a deposit at the front desk so we had to pay in room immediately upon receipt. Greet gym. Fully equipped and staff there were very nice.

Staff and room were excellent. Large rooftop pool had great views but limited number of lounge chairs and many loose pool tiles (cut my toe). Large breakfast buffet with a lot selection.
