Idéalement placé, service top mais très bruyant
Bien placé à côté de la gare, le Voco est un grand hôtel avec une décoration soignée. Le bar de l’hôtel (que nous n’avons pas testé) est très joli. Le petit déjeuner est très varié. Le personnel s’est montré serviable pour nous aider à porter nos bagages, et ils nous ont indiqué un parking à proximité sur lequel ils proposaient une remise de 50% sur le tarif normal: top 👍 Plusieurs bars et restaurants à proximité ainsi que le métro. Le seul hic, majeur : très bruyant jusqu’à 2h du matin à cause des pubs/bars/restaurants, nous avons eu du mal à nous reposer.

Hotel bien placé, Petit dejeuner parfait, Mais sans compter sur le fait que le chauffage a été coupé en soirée et toute la nuit. Sinon les clients sont en mode : je rentre bourré et j' en profite pour réveiller tout le monde ! Et cela au moins 6 fois durant le nuit. Bref nous en avions gardé un excellent souvenir lors de notre dernière visite, mais pas cette fois.

La situation de l’hôtel jouxtant la gare: Super. La bâtisse elle même : imposante dans le style très caractéristique de cette ville très attachante. La deco intérieure impressionnante. Le personnel à l’écoute, une chambre impeccable, confortable, chaude. Sans parler du « breakfast » qui vous permet de zapper le déjeuner. Allez y. Merci Expédia....

The hotel itself was nice, clean, and the staff was excellent! If I were staying in the city center, I would stay there again; although I would probably pick a less crowded area in the future. But the hotel stay was nice.

Great view of Glasgow and central station from our room. The room and bathroom was stylish and comfortable. Overall the hotel is lovely with lots of nice touches and nothing left to require. We were disappointed in the eating options and the menu didnt suit us so we would stay here again happily but eat elsewhere!

The old style is great and rooms and beds are very comferable. Roomtemperature should have been set at 19 instead of 23 degrees to save on costly energy.

I initially picked this hotel, due it being located in Central Station, which made it very easy to get to the Hydro and the shops. The hotel was fabulous. Right from check in, until we picked up our bags (they stored them for us while we wnt shopping) i cannot fault anything. The staff were all very pleasant, helpful and couldnt do enough for us. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Beds were extremely comfy and i loved that there was a safe, iron and ironing board. The chandelier is spectacular and a wonderful centrepiece for this hotel. We will definitely be back.

Attached the to the train station, convenient parking at garage. Staff is very pleasant and knowledgable. Breakfast was great every morning. Streets were a bit dirty and saw a few degens outside, but they never bothered us. Overall, great stay. Would recommend.

Fully renovated, retaining old world charm, rooms and facilities excellent, breakfast catered to all tastes and diets, price reasonable — especially when considering its excellent location in the city. Staff courteous and efficient. Glasgow throbs with party-minded folk on weekends, though they do not appear to intrude on guests seeking a quiet hotel stay. Voco Grand Central Hotel has much to offer.

Few odd things in our stay - the suite room had no chest of drawers for storing clothes, nor did it have a desk (so the kettle was difficult to use as the plugs were high up the wall). Breakfast was very busy with not enough staff serving, so took a long time to get through. Food quality was good. They offer late check out on Sunday (midday) but the room keys stop working at 11, and with only one lift working this added a big delay to check out. Location is great but would look to stay somewhere else next time we visit.

Beautiful hotel next to the Grand Central train station. A bit noisy at night due to the after hours crowd outside. The breakfast is delicious!! Our favorite place to stay in Glasgow.
