Amazing hotel for the price !!!
Second time we return. Positive : great kids' club (kids LOVED Daisy), activities amazing (catamaran and archery!). Italian restaurant amazing. REAL non-diluted cocktails good wine (and I am french). REAL lavazza coffee at bar (very rare in all-inclusives). Manager of buffet started making REAL strong coffee when I asked also. Italian and cafe restaurant just AMAZING. Asian specialty restaurant really not great though. Real hot tub by pool amazing ! However pool/tub closes at 8pm !!! Amazing cirque du soleil type shows (Pow great acrobat !!!) KJ great fun games by pool. Silver stayed overtime to rescue us when we drifted on paddle board at sea. Great guy ! Great yoga class on the beach. People wore masks overall. AMAZING snorkeling reef with lobster, turtles, right in front of beach! Negative : buffet food BLAND, redundant. Timeshare people on beach.

Enregistrement chaotique. Chambres à la déco des années 80, délabrées, sales et à la vue mer gâchée par un trapèze de cirque !!! Personnel gentil mais désespérant. Nourriture très correcte sauf au snack où l'hygiène laisse vraiment à désirer. En épargnant cet hotel-club pratiquement réservé à une clientèle italienne, Irma n'a pas vraiment rendu service au tourisme de l'île.

Hôtel très vieux avec un service inexistant ! A notre arrivée aucune aide pour porter les bagages à la chambre on ne vous propose même pas un vert d’eau. Par contre on vous rappelle fermement que toutes pertes : bracelets - cartes de serviettes seront facturées. Attention les chambres bâtiments jaune numéro commençant par 2000 sont catastrophiques : humidité constante draps moites wc et salle de bain sales et délabrés . Équipements et luminaires rouillés chasse d’eau cassée. Tout cela masqué par une forte odeur de nettoyant ménagé qui rend l air encore moins respirable. Nous avons dû exigé un changement de chambre !! Plus tard nous avons appris que d’autres personnes avaient eu les mêmes soucis. Repas de mauvaise qualité. Odeur de vomie dans les couloirs . A noter que mêmes dans les animations on promouvoit l’alcool alors que certains enfants peuvent participer. On a même assister à une scène où une personne vomit dans son chapeau à la table derrière nous au restaurant lors du déjeuner ! Très vite on comprend qu’il y a deux types de clients les VIP et les autres nous faisions parti des autres donc aucune prise en compte de nos demandes : 2 serviettes dans la salle de bain alors que nous étions 4 et ce malgré les demandes durant le séjour. Tv qui ne fonctionne pas malgré les demandes d’intervention. Séjour horrible .Rien est à la hauteur du prix payé. Les seuls points positifs le spectacle le soir et Steffany excursion Nexus.Attention bagagerie fermée pendant le déjeuner....

Endroit magique. Belle plage sable fin. Sincèrement le paradis. Le personnel par contre est peu "client oriented". Tout est lent, et on a l'impression qu'ils n'apprécient pas les clients. D'ailleurs, on réalise assez rapidement que l'on est pas un client, vu la tonalité des réponses et des comportements. Amusant, le restaurant self est de très bonne qualité, par contre les restaurants à réservation sont une plaisanterie. Qualité des mets faible, personnel peu aimable (encore). Je suggère au manager du Windham Bahamas, de mettre tous les restaurants sous la responsabilité du chef qui gère le self, un passionné et un bon pro. Par rapport au Windham en République Dominicaine, le personnel n'a vraiment pas le sens de l'accueil. Peu de sourires et des regards qui en disent long. Très dommage. Le top du top, le chef des Catamarans qui use de son petit pouvoir pour dire "non c'est déjà plein" alors qu'il n"a monté que un ou deux catamarans....et qu'à 16h il faut déjà penser à fermer pour...17h... Un lieu magique désservi par le personnel.

The property and beach were gorgeous, staff were all very friendly. The room we had was pretty dated but the air conditioning was super cold, that isn’t something we always find on islands. Food wasn’t bad for a buffer, a decent variety. We will definitely be back in the future.

We did the all inclusive, and this included your food and alcoholic drinks. The food was horrible. We had to go out to eat at a restaurant every night off the property. The alcohol in the drinks was watered down completely. We also had to go to the liquor store and borrow own bottle of rum, we told the bartender that we bought our own bottle of rum that wasn’t watered down and they were like wow you’ve got the Good rum The shows were amazing very good entertainment. The view was amazing. Beach was beautiful room was clean. OK my only complaint was the food and drinks.

For perspective on this review, I've stayed at roughly 20 all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean. Family getaway for 4 adults May 16-19 2024. We chose this particular resort because of their on-site scuba facility (more on this later). The resort itself is very nice. Property is a bit older, but well maintained and kept clean. Check in was easy. Rooms are small, but adequate for two guests. Large pool area that never felt too crowded. Beach is vast and STUNNING with plenty of chairs and palm trees for some shade. You can really spread out for your own spot. For us, the beach was the best area of the resort. As for restaurants, there are a few reservation-only restaurants and the typical buffet restaurant. We did not eat at the reservation-only restaurants. The buffet restaurant was good. About what we've experienced at other all-inclusives. Good variety and they mix up the offerings from day-to-day. There is also a beach grill for burgers, dogs, etc. As for the bars, there are two main bars. Lobby bar and beach bar. Both were fine. No top shelf booze, but your typical tropical offerings. Our complaint with the bars was that they closed the beach bar about 15 minutes earlier than posted everyday. As for the entertainment, I can't comment on that because we did not see much of that.

The property is outdated in some areas. We did not have hot water the first night because no one told us to turn it the opposite way and let it run for a while. We were having trouble with our key, but they work all that out. The food was very good. would have been better if it would’ve stayed hot. The entertainment and staff was amazing. Very disappointed, this was a gift for my husband for his B-day. Gave us the key of an occupied room to start, the add offers 4 restaurants which is NOT TRUE, 1 buffet area no that big deal and 1 small mexican place that needs reservations. We arrived at 4 pm, without lunch and was IMPOSSIBLE to get something to eat in a ALL INCLUSIVE PLAN. The front desk sent us to the pool area for food to find empty trays full of flies. The convenient store do not charge to the room, and do not accept purchases for less than $10. The bar tender of the area pool is very rude and disrespectful. But who cares, I have been reading the bad reviews, sadly after and no before booking, and the answer from the hotel it is always the same, copy and paste non sense answer. I wanted something special for my husband and ended very embarrassed. I don't understand how Expedia do not check the veracity of the places that they promote. A totally fraud!

It was a bit rundown and my door lock didn’t work half the time. There were also a lot of property perks and features I couldn’t use because I wasn’t a member or VIP that no one warned me about. The beach and pool were beautiful but small. The food was average and limited. Everyone was very friendly and helpful except for “engineering” who took 5 reports on three different days before they came to fix my door.

I had no hot water for 3 an 1/2 days. I repeatedly asked to move room's and was not moved until 3 1/2 days later. That to me is unacceptable. Other than that the resort was ok.

We came for our honeymoon and we were put in a horrible room - got into room, was hair in the shower drain, the bathroom sink hadn’t been cleaned and then I got bitten by bed bugs - it was horrible - almost 14 days of itchy skin, massive red bumps all over my arms and neck and back. They comped us a week but still we paid a lot to come here for 3w and it was the first vacation in 6 years so pretty disgusting to have to spend the first 2 weeks of it so uncomfortable and stuck ina long sleeve shirt to hide the bites, reluctantly moved us to a much nicer room that was really clean but the hotel is tired, the activities around the pool are very noisy and it’s all day long, boom boom - not that relaxing unfortunately but great for if you are coming to drink and party I guess. I think the local staff are not treated that well by management here either at times because a lot of them don’t seem overly happy, having travelled to the Bahamas many times it’s my first time seeing locals not very up beat. It’s the right price but know what you are getting will reflect that. Food is very oily as well with limited options of lean protein. But the fish on the grill was always really good - I know the staff try but again management and owners of this hotel don’t really care is the feel we got. Get out of the hotel, rent a car or a scooter and experience the true friendliness and culture outside of this place, it’s a beautiful island and people are very friendly and helpful. Good luck!

Housekeeping needs to do better , I did not like that our room smelled like straight up bleach, I had the do not disturb pass on the door and housekeeping knocked on the door and I had to yell through the door nicely to come later , she still unlocked the door with master keys. I was a little disturb after that. Overall all staff are very nice. Great location, fun activities and shows everyday.
