The Tides is in a great location. Communication was great when we arrived and when we left. Both Queen beds were uncomfortable due to mattress. The condo has all amenities needed (towels, plates, appliances...) Our building at 3801 had a pool that was ice cold as the heater was broken. You can use the one next door but not convenient. The parking lot was often full especially at night when you return from an outing.

Was very happy with Property. Check in felt a little confusing but staff did good at explaining. I wish there would have been a hot tub! Condo was very nice, only issue was no mirror in main bathroom was annoying. Also registration wasn’t open at good hours when traveling so we were out or $20 parking refund because we left early in the morning and the office wasn’t open :( Overall a very good experience and we had a great trip!!

The condo was to have a king and two queens. Had 4 full beds. Not allowed to use pool after 7:30 pm. Mold in the room. Patio door wouldn’t slide, host came to fix and shattered door…didn’t have access to patio after first day. HVAC in the bedroom had a loud rattle and squealing sound. Honestly, I’d be ashamed to rent this to someone.

I can honestly say that our little vacation was ok. The place was clean. The gentleman in charge of my stay was very respectful and informative. The apartment was clean and ready when we arrived. However they are things that can be improved. For example, the instructions should be simpler and at the moment of the reservation not later. The pool needs attention daily. The water was cloudy and not draining constantly thru the gutter.

The night customer services at the location was terrible they don’t greet you, they don’t explain the services and the property procedures. Very rude and unwelcoming, you literally had to pull teeth with them to get information. When retrieving the access code to the condo because the code send wasn’t working, the condo management personnel treated us like we were stupid and we didn’t know how to punch in # keys. Like if it was our fault the code didn’t work, they way the spoke to me was if I was little child. Given I was already tired and frustrated from before and been treated like that over the phone at midnight just left me with sour taste from that point forward. Overall the experience was ugh.

Condo could use some small updates to room features, such as hooks and tables for guests to store their belongings more easily. Staff that spoke little to no english, very poor communication from rental management ahead of check-in, leaving guests confused. Guests felt that a binder with information about the condo, what to expect from staff, what's included, what extras are available, and what the area around the condo offers, would be very helpful. Guests remarked that the condo was very clean, and enjoyed having easy access to the beach.

We were very disappointed with this condo. It is old and in need of upgrades. Things were broken such as the door of the microwave being cracked, no stopper in the bathtub drain & the door handle on the outside of the sliding glass door was cracked off among other things. The check in process was very confusing and we ended up waiting for over an hour. We only had 3 bath towels, no handtowels or wash cloths. We asked for more towels and after 4 days they brought more bath towels and 2 hand towels (still no washcloths). The kitchen was poorly equiped, the mismatched pans looked like they were old and from a garage sale. We could not get the TV's to work properly and even though we asked for help, no one came to get them to work. There was no soap, no toilet paper, no garbage bags. On the positive side, the pool was very nice and the beach was beautiful. But the location was not that great due to there being no restaurants within walking distance.

Overall I enjoyed the stay and had a great time. I had trouble figuring out how to access the room. I think on that end of things once your arrive it’s very confusing and poorly ran. The pools are great, the enjoy cafe is super nice. Location is decent, but all the places you pass heading north look a lot nicer than the tides.

Getaway with my two children, pool was super nice and beach is literally steps away! Nice little cafe and convenience store at the adjacent property. Nothing as far as activities, grocery or restaurants within walking distance so plan on taking a Lyft anywhere else. Very strict about check out time which is at 11, we had a cleaning lady start knocking on our door at 1030 am and I told her we would be out at 11 but because she didn’t speak English she has to get someone to translate then they both knocked several times and tries to rush us out by waiting outside the door and even asking if they could come in and start cleaning while we were still there. Property was great besides that.

The living room furniture was very uncomfortable. The beds were uncomfortable. No paper products i.e. coffee filters, paper towels. Had to get money on a card to do laundry and that did not work!! Communication with the realty co. was very bad!

Proximity to the beach is great! The pool area is very nice and the building is located right on the beach. Lots of food options near by. The apt. was very spacious. Lots of room for our family of 5 to spread out. There is even covered parking to protect our car. There was a lengthy list of things not to do that we received after booking. No luggage in the common area, use the service elevator when carrying groceries or suitcases. While these things might seem like a nuisance before arriving it was obvious once we were here why those restrictions are in place. This condo building is also where people live full time. It IS NOT a hotel. As guests we need to be courteous to the people that call this place home. The cons: The apt. was grimy. It was obvious that attention had been paid to make the place feely nice with furnishings, but everything was a little worn down. It was definitely not sparkling clean but if you are considering staying here please remember this is a 2.5 star resort. If you want 5 star clean and amenities you will have to pay alot more for that. This is one of the best priced places you can stay at in this area, just know that you are paying for a 2.5 star resort so you need to have 2.5 star expectations.

Although our trip was quickly planned I never expected that this stay would be so disappointing. Upon check in you are required to go through the back service entrance where the trash bins are located. Then to bring your luggage through the same way! The staff wasn't very accommodating and we felt like we were snuck in at check in. When we got to the room the room was pleasant to the eye at first sight however, as we were there using the room the more we found. The dishes were dirty! Before I cooked the first time I had to wash the pans and casserole dishes! They were visibly dirty along with the dish towels in the kitchen. The furniture in the main room was nice however the unit was pretty dated. The two double beds in the bedroom were terrible. They felt like you were sleeping on the floor! The pool area however was very nice and the fitness room was closed down but looked nice. The amenities were the only good thing about the place.

Overall, we were happy with our stay at the Tides. Chicago in February is usually a Winter hell on Earth, so a trip to southern Florida was just what the doctor ordered. The cab ride from the airport to the Tides was about 30mins. The cab driver complained that we used a credit card. (Ride sharing is cheaper.) The Tides are privately owned condominiums and there is a contact that you must reach before you get your room. They use WhatApp for communication. You’re not allowed to bring luggage into the lobby area, so be advised that you’ll have to walk around to the side of the 3901 building. Don’t worry, it’s really not that bad. Registration in their office was quick and easy. You get your key and card for the laundry machines (if needed) and you are shown to your room. The room itself was clean and had a nice ocean view. The kitchen is a bit dated, but serviceable. The bedroom had 2 queen beds, the living room and dining are open spacious. Wifi is also available. The pool is big but was crowded for our stay. You can use your key to enter the pubic beach from the property. The Hollywood Beach boardwalk is a 8 minute ride away. There’s a 7-11 at the corner and a Walmart a 13min walk across the bridge. There’s a cafe/mini-mart in the building but it was closed for construction. I don’t think it’s worth renting a car, but that’s up to you. In the end, we came away happy. Enjoy!

The unit was old, dirty, overall disgusting. Beds were old, lumpy, thin towels! I will never stay here again!

I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the cleaning service, and that for you the units are old. We actually are renewing all the units changing beds, matresses... so the guests get a proper acomodation. We sincerely hope you found accommodations which met your expectations for future trips.
