Our Boys ski group enjoyed the stay
Group of old-dude skiers have hung out a lots of VRBOs and ski resorts over the years Really enjoyed this house - appears recently remodeled, nicely decorated and well equipped (kitchen supplies and utensils, appliances, etc ). Would not hesitate to book again at this resort Enjoyed our getaway

My friends had a wonderful stay at the location. Very spacious and well furnished. Walk to ski hill was about 10mins. Suggest driving up to the hill parking lot if that's an option. Overall good experience!

A Thanksgiving to remember
10 of us spent Thanksgiving 2023 together at this lovely and very comfortable chalet. It was well equipped with everything we needed and a perfect set up for 3 families.

True North is a relaxed home with lots of space to enjoy
We loved the kitchen appliances, utensils etc. We had everything we needed including the great island. The heated floor in the ski room downstairs is perfect to dry equipment. Our beds were very comfortable. Our favourite features were the hot tub and fireplace. The street was quiet with 3 vehicle parking and private view to the back. Everyone walking in the area was friendly and kind. Such a relaxing place. We don’t feel this was a ski in/out location. The snow is waist deep on the incline from the back trail up to the lower level hot tub/back door. There are also trees growing in the only possible space. Our adult group could not climb up. Overall a beautuful place, and great skiing mid Jan 2023.

Spring Skiing Fun
The property is about a 7 minute walk to the hill. Lots of room in the cabin and two decks to use. It was a great place and I’m going to rent it again next year for another Fernie holiday.

Great place for a big family
We stayed here with family for a getaway and found the house very comfortable. Nice open floor plan and great amenities, including a foosball table, new hot tub, huge equipment room for all the gear, fire pit outside, and nice deck furniture. The rental agency was very responsive to any questions and concerns that we had. A hiccup that we experienced during our stay was looked after with care. A couple extra things that may not be apparent in the listing but might be nice to know: there is a decent sized yard for kids to play in, there is a portable fan in every room which may be nice during the summer, the hot tub has a child safety lock, and the kitchen is quiet well stocked with the basics.

Quick Ski Getaway

Anita, I understand that you were upset upon your arrival that the driveway and walkway had not been cleared of snow. We too were disappointed with the company contracted to look after snow removal, that even though it was an extremely busy snow day, this was not done. We have addressed this with them to ensure it does not happen again.There is a trail that allows for skiing back into the chalet, numerous skiers and snowboarders have not had an issue finding or using it. You mentioned the chalet was dirty, if that was the case why did you not contact the office ( as you know we have an agent on call 24 - 7 for guest help) or myself so that housekeeping could be dispatched to address any concerns or issues you were having. As we have a 5 star cleaning team, which is reflected in our reviews on over 40 properties, I am doubtful of your statement the chalet was not clean. It is unfortunate that you did not enjoy your stay but help was a phone call away at any time.

Beautiful Cabin for a Weekend Away
The cabin was cozy but still had plenty of space for 9 adults. Was very nicely decorated, clean and is accurately depicted on the listing. Check in and check out was easy, no issues or surprises during booking or our stay. Would definitely return, a beautiful little spot!

Wow!
We loved the decor! So beautiful and comfortable. The open concept and plenty of seating made for a perfect place to gather with friends. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the view from the deck and the hot tub time machine. We’re couldn’t have found a better spot to spend the weekend. Thank you :)

No A/C so beware
Yes there was nothing in the listing stating it had A/C but I assumed this was standard these days in most rentals. We contacted the property manager and Chris brought in fans the next day at their expense as the Homeownwer wouldn’t do a thing.... I thought at almost 500 a night that you would get more than this but it is really set up for winter and skiing. So beware if you are not renting this in winter as you will have a rough time sleeping. The main level was 28 degrees at almost 10 pm and the upstairs level was well over 33 degrees. The house other than this was nice but the furniture was not very comfortable and hard to sit in. Will 100% not rent this house again for the price you pay and what you get. I rented another house that is almost double in the same area but you get much more. Again Chris and Diana were great at the rental agency so I would book through them again but in a different house.

Hi Cory, I am truly sorry that you didn’t have the best stay. There were some errors, on our part, and I am glad we were able to turn it around so quickly. Regarding the A/C…. for years all we have had to do is, pull the blinds shut during the day and open up the windows and doors at night to allow the cool mountain air to come in. When you had arrived late that evening, we didn’t close the blinds during the day and the doors and windows were not opened. You definitely came into a hot home and again, I want to apologize for this. The owner is actually a fantastic guy and was pleased that you had a comfortable stay for the rest of your vacation. He was concerned as well. I have talked to our pre-arrival staff to ensure that this will not happen again. This property is better in person! We loved it!
We would definitely rent this property again! This is probably the cleaning rental we’ve ever stayed it. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could think of. Loved the beverage station and wine fridge. We are pretty particular and we were very impressed with this rental. Great location. Only downsides is that you feel a little exposed to the main road in the evening (curtains would be nice). The hot tub was great and large screen TV was good too. The cabin was decorated with simple, elegant, rustic decor. The lighting and details didn’t go unnoticed! WE WILL BE BACK!

Great place.
Came with a group of 10 for a weekend of skiing. The house was only a 5 minute walk to the lifts, and the ski out runs right to the back yard. The hot tub was a huge plus after a full day of riding. The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. Would stay again, would recommend.
