My stay was at level 5 and the noise from the street is incredibly loud but for the rest nice restaurant and bar in the hotel

Le séjour a été bien réussi mise à part que nous avons tenté de rejoindre au téléphone le valet parking le lendemain matin pour récupérer notre voiture et après plusieurs minutes on nous a dit que nous devions aller en personne au valet, que personne n'était rejoignable. Donc nous avons du attendre notre voiture.

Immense hôtel. Pas vraiment du genre historique comme les autres Fairmont que j’ai essayé mais reste que c’est toujours symbole de qualité et de luxe. Belle boutique au lobby, possède aussi un Starbucks a même le lobby en plus du bar et resto. Le point fort: L’établissement possède une vraiment belle piscine avec terrasse au 3 ou 4 ieme étage. La piscine était un pur bonheur dans la chaleur estivale du Texas. Les voituriers étaient très gentils. La chambre d’hôtel, spacieuse, bien meublée. Les lits, toujours aussi confortables et avec belle literie. Notre salle de bain était un peu à l’étroit mais propre et belles serviettes moelleuses.

Parking is $50/night. I got offered a discount on it and paid upfront. Upon checking out, I was asked if I had a car and I said I did but had already paid for parking. I was charged again anyway. They also nickel and dime for things like wifi access.

They have the worst customer service. We asked for bathrobes and slippers, never got them even after calling three times and being told they are on their way. Asked for a spare blanket at night, they saod they are out of BLANKETS. We are never coming back to this property. And after checking out they offered us lunch lol to compensate. No thank you we don’t care for your lynch when I paid for a Kind Suite.

This an older property and it shows. My expectations of the Fairmont brand is more of a graceful maturing and this property has simply aged. Visible stains on walls, carpets, other textiles making the atmosphere more dingy than elegant. The staff accommodated an early check in which was both unexpected and appreciated. The room however wasn’t properly stocked with water, tissue, towels and lacked more modern basics like usb charging ports. They still use Le Labo products which was refreshing. The only mirrors in the room were bedside and completely covered by lamps that were the same size as the mirror making it impossible to examine ones appearance before presenting themselves in the world. The onsite shop was lacking, resembling more of a chitchat store, though they had a good selection of travel toiletries and personal odds and ends. The dinning was terrible. I had breakfast at Pyramid restaurant. The coffee was terrible and the pancakes were dense and gummy and it cost $30 for one person.. I suspect they were understaffed but the service was attentive and fast after they noticed I’d been seated.

I didn’t like the showers. The shower had was terrible. I was very uncomfortable taking a shower. The water was shoot out very hard. It was just very uncomfortable. The showerheads need to be replaced.

Title: Disappointing Stay at Fairmont Hotel Dallas I recently spent a night at the Fairmont Hotel Dallas, but unfortunately, my stay was marred by a few issues. The room's air conditioning was not cooling the room sufficiently, despite my efforts to adjust the thermostat. I reported the issue to the front desk, and someone was sent to check on it, but nothing could be done to fix it. What was even more disappointing was that the front desk didn't follow up with me to see if the issue had been resolved or offer an alternative solution, such as switching rooms. It seemed like they didn't care about my comfort or satisfaction. While the hotel's lobby and common areas are beautifully decorated, and the staff is friendly, the lack of attention to my issue and the inability to provide a comfortable room left a sour taste in my mouth. Rating: 2/5 stars
