Personnel avec de bon conseils sur les vignobles et restaurant du coin. L’arrivé c’est fait sans souci, chambre tel qu’indiquée, propre, tranquille comme endroit. Près de tres beaux vignoble et à distance de marche de resto, café, boutique.

We came here for a last minute memorial weekend trip. With a $500 lodging cost per night and good reviews from Expedia, we were expecting a decent experience. First, one of their selling point of this Inn is that there is a hot spring experience right at this location. In fact they even included hot spring as a part of their name. We of course, decided to go straight to the pool/ hot spring area for this experience. Let me tell you, it looks like swamp spa. The water was groggy and yellowish with extreme water damage and mold all around the the mini pool and jot spring (hot tub). It was straight from a horror film. The pool needs some serious maintenance. Please see pics. Second, the air conditioning of the rook sounded like a helicoptor right beside us. We couldn’t keep it more than a few minutes. As a result, we had to open the window and since our room was positioned right outside of the street, we had car noises throughout the night. Needless to say, we didn’t have any rest throughout our 2 nights stay. Lastly, the room didn't even offer basic necessity like water. Please review our pics and video to experience our not so memorable Memorial Day weekend at Up Valley Inn.

Overall I was content the stay with the cute ambiance, clean room, and convenient location. I didn’t use the pool or hot tub because the water had a green tint so wasn’t sure if it was over chlorinated or the pool was dirty. The room was recently remodeled but the AC unit didn’t seem to be updated. It was about 90 degrees in Calistoga during my stay, so I turned on the AC. It was loud like a jet engine, which made it hard for a light sleeper like me to sleep through the night. I would have been okay with sleeping with the window open at night but there were a lot of gnats flying outside and didn’t want to deal with too many inside.

The jacuzzi needs a scrub, the pool needs a skimming for bugs, the toilet kept running after flush so much I had to turn the water supply OFF, the "boutique" shower of 1 glass covers only the 1/2 of the cubicle, the rest you get to be cold if not in the water. When front desk was advised, I got a "sorry". Really? Would not recommend anyone else stay there.

The property had a beautiful view. It was just around the corner from town. The UpValley Inn is quint. The pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room were very nice. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

The geothermal pool was way too hot. Perhaps they could find a way to cool it like they do at Harbin Hot Springs, which is where we ended up going for the two days of our stay. We had to pay $99 each for the membership and travel from Upvalley to Harbin each day if we wanted to enjoy geothermal pools. Also a big issue was that they advertised that they had the filtered water dispenser, but is has been out of order the entire stay. We were able to use the dispenser at Harbin Hot Springs. The last day, Sunday, we booked massages at a local resort and will enjoy their temperature regulated geothermal pools afterwards. So in total, we used Upvalley as a place to sleep only. Not really worth it and we will not stay here again. Very disappointed that EXPEDIA WOULD NOT LET ME CANCEL MY RESERVATIONS WHEN WE ARRIVED AND WERE UNDERWHELMED.

Seems like the rooms were recently renovated/updated and were nice and clean. The steam room and sauna by the pools seemed brand new, clean and well kept. Pool/hot springs area is a bit outdated but still did the trick for a nice spa weekend.

This place was nicely remodeled and I really enjoyed the room and very comfortable bed! My only complaint was the pool and spa could REALLY use a refurbishment! They were outdated and uninviting. The hot springs were the whole draw to the property and we didn't use it much for that reason. Disappointing.

We enjoyed our stay! The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The mineral pool and jacuzzi were very nice to soak in after a day of exploration. Sauna and steam room were nice too! The only complaint would be the accumulation of trash outside the rooms. Multiple bags on the ground and trash outside was not emptied the entire time we were there (2.5 days). Overall, it was nice and I would stay here again.

Loved the sauna and steam room. Took advantage of the free bike for a couple of hours and rode to town and was able to visit the Sharpsteen museum (free admission). Less than 10 minute drive to Castello di Amorosa castle winery.

I was really hoping for a romantic getaway in Calistoga, but felt the property was lacking that ambiance. The two “mineral pools” were chlorinated and basically felt like a regular pool and a jacuzzi. They were crawling with kids, all the way up until pool close. I did enjoy the saunas, definitely the redeeming quality of the hotel.

I am glad i stayed here for my first time in Napa. Not too close to many wineries but not far for many in the northern part of the valley like Castello di Amorosa and Sterling. A short drive (or walk if you'd like) to their downtown with some pretty good dining options. The property eas clean and lived the ice and water machine. I stayed in a king suite with a patio and it was awesome...too bad it rained most of the time. I think this is a good and affordable place to stay and I would recommend it.

Die Zimmer, die Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten und der Saunabereich waren schön, sauber und neu. Die Poolanlagen waren jedoch leider sehr marode und einfach dreckig. In beiden Pools sehr viele Blätter und Insekten. Eigentlich müssten diese beide saniert oder neu gebaut werden. Sonst war es ein netter Aufenthalt. Für eine oder zwei Nächte ausreichend.

Great location, liked the dry sauna. Walking distance to places to eat and drink. Staff was very friendly and accommodating with our earlier arrival. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Only drawbacks was the accumulation of some insects in the mineral pool and tub and the wet sauna did have a slightly moldy smell but that could have just been my perception, grounds a little dated but would definately recommend a stay at this place
