I was in room 412, it smelt like old cigarette smoke even with the window open. The hallways were freezing, ac on full blast. Seems like they are short staffed, went to the desk to get the pool towels refilled and she couldn’t since she was all by herself. Had to walk the freezing hallways soaking wet. The hotel was busy, almost fully booked with one staff member, not ideal.

Room was suppose to be a superior king. Nothing about this room was superior. We arrived, seen how dirty the room was and tried to book somewhere else. There were no suites available in other hotels. We went and bought cleaning supplies. Cleaning a whole suite was not what I needed,after driving for 10 hours. We arrived and there were sticky hand marks all over the kitchen doors and handles. There was food in the cupboards. Obviously left from person before. Our feet were sticking to the bathroom floor. I’m happy we had shoes on. I cleaned it on my hands and knees with Lysol wipes. The wipes were orange. Goodness knows what was on the floor. We went to bed and there was a pill on the floor. I’m sure glad we didn’t have children with us. We called for room service on day 3. The room was not vacummed ,toilet wasn’t cleaned. We would clean the toilet, but there wasn’t any toilet brush to clean it. The hairs that were in the shower when we arrived, were still in the shower, when we came back.We used the bath, so the hairs were there till the day we left. Bed was rock hard. Sheets hardly fit. The bed had a mattress topper, but it was so washed out and had no filling in. It was like a sheet. I was happy to get home. Our backs were killing us, after 4 nights in that bed. The noise from the highway was horrendous. We went and bought earplugs, so we could sleep. Would not stay again or recommend anyone to stay here. The only good thing about this hotel is Smitty’s.

This was the 4th stay in this hotel! We like that it's close to Calgary and other activities. We noticed this time that our room was not really clean. It had hair all over the beds and in the bathroom. The floor was dirty and when we pulled the blankets down there was a brown stain on the sheets. We were really grossed out. The manager was amazing and gave us a free night. But that doesn't help that their cleaning staff is not doing a great job. I hope that this can change as this hotel is a nice place to stay!

Hotel was completely overrun by hockey teams, drunk parents. Unsafe, unsupervised (ages from literally 5 to 15) kids everywhere well past midnight. Parents only to be found gathered in rooms partying with children and teens left completely to their own devices. Hotel staff absolutely overwhelmed and unable to manage the situation. Neighboring room had a little girl sobbing for 20 minutes with no parents to be found. Pool was full of kids with one or two "parents" completely ignoring them. Climbing the slide (7 or eight at a time). Talking to other guests the said their floor was even worse with teams (kids and parents) moving their chairs into the hallway and partying well into the night. Complaints to staff did nothing.

We were there for two nights. My son didn’t want to swim the first night after a busy day. The second night we decided to go and the pool wasn’t working all of a sudden. Expedia nor the hotel offered any suggestions. I couldn’t even get in touch with a real person with Expedia. That was the only reason I booked there. Was for my children to enjoy the pool. But that didn’t happen. Kinda ruined the trip. Safe to say I won’t use Expedia or Ramada again.

The hot tub was overflowing so we had to shut down the entire pool area for an hour to have it sorted. After that we knew it couldn't be fixed right away so we kept it out of order but had the pool and waterslide open for the rest of the evening. Overall the hotel was great. The staff was helpful, and easy to work with. The room was clean, and fully stocked. I would give it 5, but oh my the beds were awful. Not just mine, but the two in the secondary bedroom. Probably the worst hotel bed I've ever had. Maybe it was just bad luck, but has to bed said.

Most staff absolutely amazing. We loved our room, the games room and the set up of the pool room. The hideabed was comfortable but needed a vacuum underneath to get old food and small car toys out. We used the pool room just after it opened at 8am and I was hoping to use the hot tub. A staff member was just adding multiple cups of chlorine/powdered chemicals to the ice cold hot tub at about 830 am so it was only room temp by 10 am. The kids had fun in the pool but it looked a bit murky. After a few trips down the waterslide and swallowing water he started to feel sick then he had to vomit. The pool room is a perfect set up but the water quality needs to be checked I also think the hot tub should be ready to use during opening hours. I was reminded by the pool maintenance man that I could NOT have coffee in the pool room but no apology for a cold hot tub. The games room is great. Overall I would stay again especially if the pool water quality can be fixed. The location is great - close to Genesis rec centre and to main road.
