were able to check in early. one of our party has coeliacs which qas no problem for the stafff who prepared her a totally separate GF breakfast. The room was super clean and had everything we needed

We stayed for one night with family and enjoyed the the whole experience, room , breakfast, staff all very good clean and tidy.
Lots to choose breakfast selection didn’t eat in evening or dinner however lots of other guests did.
Greeted by Sid on reception and checked in, Sylvia in charge of breakfast was very good and efficient making sure everything was in place and correct nothing was too much bother.

What you’d expect from an inner city hotel. Even on the 5th floor the noise of the city was prominent. The bed was comfy and, once I’d figured out how to turn the aircon off, a reasonable temperature at night.

Regular go to hotel for when in Birmingham, only disappointment this time was even though we waited to check in at 3pm as rooms were not ready one of the rooms hadn't even been cleaned and was given to us. Another room was organised but not really the best of starts.

Rooms clean, check in good. Some training on bar needed. Lifts still not all working after 6 months! Renovation work on rooms started about 915am meaning no lie in and use of late check in, could have been worked around better

The fantastic staff made our stay wonderful. At the restaurant, Sylwia was very kind when my toddler and I ate breakfast; she went out of her way to ensure my child had food that met her dietary restrictions and to make us feel welcome. Sid and Matt at the front desk/concierge services were also terrific. This was our first stay at a Crowne Plaza, but thanks to those three employees, we will be returning customers.

We attended The English Wedding Awards and the Simply Devine Hat Shop won Accessories Supplier of the Year 2024!! We had 3 rooms for 6 guests. The staff were extremely lovely, the ladies who looked after us at breakfast were amazing. The service was second to none. Thank you. Hat's off to all at The Crowne Plaza Birmingham (excuse the hat pun!!!).

Disappointed - hotel rooms need a facelift.
We felt the hotel was very run down and rooms were very dated. The lobby area looks nice but the corridors and rooms need a facelift! Really disappointed with the standard of the room.

The hotel is in a good location with a car park below thats very convenient, however the rooms are tired and for what you pay its bad value. My room card also stopped working so then back to reception 2 additional times. However the shower has great water pressure and its clean enough although not super clean.
