Everything was nice and we've been given a room with a big terrace because we stayed 6 nights, as smokers we really enjoyed it. The room was comfortable, the italian shower was great, aircon was working fine, it was quiet because not on the street and the staff is very nice.
The little downside is when you're located at the 1st floor, the corridors are opened to the main hall of the hotel and they play music loudly until very late, even when there's nobody at the bar or in the hall... quite strange... so you could hear the music and people talking at the hotel desk, a bit annoying. About the design, one can find it great, we found it cold and the hall was way too dark... in no way you'd like to stay in the lobby, but that a matter of taste. We also had breakfast outside because the design of the bar/breakfast room is not welcoming at all, there are many other options around. Anyway, the location is perfect near Gracia district, the Paseig de Gracia, the Sagrada Familia and a metro station 2 blocks away from the hotel, and Eixample is a fantastic neighborhood.
