Severe Winter Storm to affect travel to Northeast United States: Feb. 26-28, 2010

February 25, 2010 - Severe winter weather will again sweep across the Northeast region of the United States on Thursday and will continue through Friday. Heavy snow, high winds and heavy rain in some areas will likely cause major travel delays around the region. Winter weather advisories have been issued for the states of Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C., and West Virginia.
Due to the potential for travel disruptions, customers are encouraged to check the status of their flights with the airlines prior to heading to the airport. More information on the current weather situation in the Northeast is available on the
