Travel Arrangers: Save time and money with tips from Expedia
You are important to Expedia! We want to help make your job of arranging travel as convenient and efficient as possible, so we’ve gathered insider tips from our own travel experts to help you save time and money.
Planning tips:
- Travel Arranger: Set yourself up as an official Expedia.ca Travel Arranger using the following steps:
- Log in to your Expedia.ca account.
- Click on My Profile.
- Click on Arranger Settings in left-hand column.
- Select Add an account and follow the instructions on the next page.
- Travellers: Be sure all your travellers name you as their Travel Arranger:
- Your travellers will also need Expedia.ca accounts, following the same directions under Add a Travel Arranger.
- The travellers will receive confirmation e-mails to authorize you as their Travel Arranger.
- After both confirmations have been received, the request will move out of 'Pending' status.
Searching tips:
- Hotel amenities: Use this filter within search results to easily locate hotels with specific features, including business services, high-speed Internet access, and on-site restaurants.
- Hotel details: Take a look at our hotel descriptions, complete with reviews and even Virtual Tours, to ensure travellers get exactly what they want.
Booking tips:
- Have Traveller Information at your fingertips. Keep it on file to make booking faster and easier.
- Try Express Booking in the Purchase & Billing section: If you have travellers who repeat itineraries, you can re-book the same itinerary with just a few clicks.

Tips for travellers on the road:
- Driving directions: Let them know exactly how to get there—before they take off.
- Traveller Alerts: Travelling soon? Be in the know with the latest travel advisories, tips, and policy changes.
Money-saving tips:
- Add the Expedia.ca Business page to your Favourites: Visit often for special Business Travel deals you won’t find anywhere else.
- Book together and save: Save C$149* on average, just by booking flight and hotel together.
How it works:
Search for hotels.
Click the Narrow your search link at the top of the page.

Search for hotels in your destination.
Find a hotel that interests you in the list and look for a camera icon, indicating a virtual tour is available. Click on the camera icon to go to that hotel’s virtual tour page. (Please note: Not all hotels feature virtual tours.)
Click on individual camera icons to view specific virtual tours.
How it works:
Once your booking is complete, look below the confirmation box and click on the Send your flight itinerary to your cell phone as a text message link.
Enter your cell phone number, starting with the area code.
Click the I agree to the terms and conditions box, and then the Send to phone button.
