“Excellent hotel”

Stayed for 2 nights Feb'08 in Lake view room in new circular part of hotel. All aspects of hotel to a high standard. Location is on hills above Zurich but an easy commute by very frequent tram in 10 or so minutes to city. Very close to zoo & new FIFA headquarters (no humour intended). With latter (FIFA), means hotel could be busy at times. Highly recommend this hotel.

“A Wonderful Experience”

This was a great hotel, with beautiful designer-appointed rooms, great breakfast, gorgeous views and a short tram ride away from the city centre. Had a hard time finding availability in Zurich at the last moment, and came across this hotel, which was available. So happy that I did book a room there. Have really enjoyed my experience there. The only drawbacks: somewhat spotty 3G connection and an overpriced internet connection (it was CHF 25 per day when I stayed).

“Yes, nice hotel.”

A very quiet hotel with great views of the city below. If you are on business and like to eat well and sleep at night, this is the place. Ten minutes in a tram takes you into the city for work.

“An excellent Hotel”

Very nice hotel set in woodland at the outskirts of Zurich.Only a ten minute tram ride to the central station for shopping dining etc. Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms. My only gripe was the lack of an English language channel on the televison.

“Would definitely stay there again.”

The hotel has wonderful views of the Zurich Lake. Good tram connection to the centre. Modern and well furnished rooms with a coffee machine. No air conditioning though. Beautiful terrace for leisurely breakfast or lunch. Highly recommended.

“Lovely settings, great room, really impressed!”

Nice, modern rooms with plenty of amenities (including a Nespresso machine)and very good size. Only issues on the rooms were the lack of a queen or king-size bed (I was given a room with 2 joint single beds and found that uncomfortable), the lack of air conditioning, and the small bugs that would find their way into my room from the nearby forest (however, this is just a matter of closing the windows,the room was spotless clean). Lovely surroundings: a big forest on the one side, a fantastic lake view on the other. I'd stay there again for sure!
