“Great Zurich Airport Hotel”
Very friendly people. Moderately priced. Free shuttle to and from airport. Train into Zurich city just a few steps away.
“Ah, Switzerland!”
This hotel was very convenient for an early departure from Kloten airport, without actually being an airport hotel: that is, there is a little of a town around the hotel with some choice of restaurants, shopping, etc. The hotel itself shows all the best features of Switzerland, being well-run, clean, comfortable, and pleasant.
“Great Hotel Option Near the Airport - Kloten”
The shuttle bus was very convenient to go to and from the airport and ran frequently. The double bathroom (shower and sink in one room and toilet and sink in the other room) saved us time when getting ready for our flight. The shower was spacious. The room was comfortable and had a mini-fridge also. Overall this was a great option for a hotel near the airport.. Our flight was early and this saved us having to get up in the middle of the night to arrive at the airport.
“Great rate, friendly staff,wonderful town, convenient to Zurich”
The Hotel shuttle(FREE!) took us right to the door of the Hotel, he was very kind and made sure we had our bags.Lovely front desk staff who will book side trips, exchange currency, sell train tickets, check prices and open times. The room was very clean, a little small but very comfortable bedding.Also has a refigerator with goodies should you the main street as it got a little busy late evenings and was noisy. The breakfast was great.....yogurt, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, cheese, ham, turkey, bacon, cereal, coffee, tea, juice, and always a fresh large basket of assorted locally baked breads and jams. Cost was 16. Franks, about 12.00 US. If you just want coffe and a roll, walk 1 block across the street and there is a cafe with fresh baked breads and sweets, sit down and eat or take it with you. You can also get coffee and rolls,sandwiches, yogurt, cheese, etc. at the train station, 3 blocks away, and it is resonable. They are open on Sundays, too when everything else in town is closed(except the hotel breakfast is open). There is a grocery store about 2 blocks away, too. They sell fresh breads, sweets, quiches, like a deli, good prices. Closed on Sunday.
“Very convenient”
Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Hotel is located conveniently close to the airport and the free shuttle service in the morning is spot on. Hotel room itself is decent. Should have asked for high speed internet access at check in or had it offered, but other than that the stay was very nice. This is my second time staying here and would probably do so again. Only big downside is the travel time to reach the city center by train but the Kloten train stop is only a few blocks away, just have to be patient waiting for the next train to arrive.
“Excellent room layout!”
Very spacious room for two people who want separate beds. Unusual for Europe. Toilet is SEPARATED from shower in two different cubicles; and there are two SEPARATED twin beds with actual space between them! Free airport shuttle is a big plus. Mail left with receptionist was sent out promptly.

The Hotel Welcome Inn accommodated our request for early check-in. The staff was helpful and friendly. The Hotel Welcome Inn located in Kloten, Switzerland was the perfect hub for our daily adventures. An easy days travel to every location we visited; The Black Forest for cuckoo clocks, Munich for the Hofbrauhaus, Glockenspiel and steins, Zurich for excellent cuisine and a lake cruise, Zermatt and the Matterhorn. We've added this trip back on our bucket list!
“Impressed”
Even though the location of the hotel was a little far from the main city center of Zurich, the train station is very close, across the street almost, and it doesn't take long at all. The staff was very nice, one thing to note is the internet is available, wirelessly, but you have to pay for it. overall it was clean and nice.
“Great place, convenient location”
Great, clean, quiet hotel right near the airport. Great "Value" hotel, with shuttle bus service that runs every half hour. Hotel Resturant was quite good, with menu that was diverse enough to suit virtually anyone. On time delivery to the airport the next morning without any problems.
“So Clean and Neat”
We really enjoyed this hotel. We just needed to overnight near the airport, but it was so clean and had everything we needed, including a shuttle to the airport. We'd highly recommend it.
