The place was beautiful and close to the water. It snowed overnight so we woke up to a winter wonderland.

Great place to stay in Zurich
Our stay at Hotel Rossli was perfect, from the location to the room to the access to Zurich. Everyone was friendly and helpful. And the views from our rooftop terrace were spectacular. Thanks for everything, it made our trip that much more special.

Great location for sure. Pretty close walking distance to a lot of places in Zurich. If you're coming from US, you might agree with what I say. If you're European, you're probably used to what im talking about. Everything else besides location is sub par for the price. Room is very very small, im one person and have barely any room to put my suitcase and move around. It's on the street, and even though it's not a main street, apparently people don't sleep here during the week, so you can still hear people downstairs yelling and laughing and talking and it goes to past midnight sometimes. Pillows are flat and thin, impossible to get a good night's sleep. Walls are paper thin and I'm currently dealing with a very noisy person who won't put the volume down even after I asked. No AC, which apparently you do need in October here. And opening the window is impossible because you can hear people outside. Breakfast buffet is fine but very pricey. So if you're a light sleeper in your late 30s or more, this won't work for you. If you're a college student who could sleep anywhere, you'll be fine.

Very friendly staff. One morning I had to cancel taxi pickup very early morning, before reception opened. Breakfast staff was supper supportive and contacted taxi service for me.

no one help you check in after 8pm and the hotel signs are confusing because the main building actually called a different hotel names. it took a long time to figure things out yourself and you need to be able to have international phone plan or other phone plan to call the after hour number to try to get in the hotel.

A beautiful stay in Zurich!
This place was amazing! Traveling with friends, we booked the Junior Suite and it was perfect! Comfortable, spacious, clean- and the best part- we had a private rooftop terrace with incredible views!! Check in/ check out were super easy, and the included breakfast was really delicious. It’s located in a cute area and very walkable to everything. We would’ve stayed here longer if we could have. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!

Great stay and will stay again!
Great hotel in the old town. A little over a block to the main road along the river, or uphill to wander the streets of the old town. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was really nice and a nice big bathroom. The restaurant at the hotel looked good and next time I'll try it. Will definitely stay again.

The Hotel Rossli was a nice hotel, just not what was advertised on Hotel.com. Hotel.com lists under Main Amenities rooftop terrace and restaurant/bar. Restaurant/bar was closed and there is no roof top terrace. Parking is available at the Parkhaus Opera city parking location, about a ten minute walk to hotel. Be sure to bring ticket to desk and you will receive a discounted parking rate. Room was quite large, especially the bathroom and very, modern and clean. There is an elevator, very small for two people with one carry on piece or one person with checked bag. Room had a Dyson fan, but no AC and it was a little warm for sleeping. Staff was extremely friendly and location of hotel was convenient; near tram lines. This is a couples or maybe business trip hotel; not set-up for families.
