We requested joining double rooms for our stay and it was confirmed via email. However, when we arrived, we were offered a large suite. The room was nice and big, however, the electronic lock did not work. We tried more than 10 keys, and the lock would not work. The hotel did not know what to do. They just kept reprogramming keys not understanding that the problem was with the lock. The suite did not look to have used for quite some time, probably because the lock was broken. Surely the hotel knew this, but offered the room anyway. Only the master key would work, so they had to let us in when we arrived and when we returned from dinner. There was a full kitchen, however, there were no pots, pans, dishes, or cutlery. The glasses provided were dirty. In the ensuite bathroom, there was a dirty towel and used bar of soap. The room was very warm, but because of the time of year, we supposed, the air con did not work. We opened the windows, however, they was a VERY loud party going on downstairs, which made sleeping very difficult. The party went to past 2 am We were offered a new room for the next night, however, we were only staying one night. Since the lock did not work, we had to prop the door open so that we could go to breakfast and be able to re-enter our room without having to bother the front desk again. We advised the front desk when we checked out that the lock on our door was broken, but no apologies were offered.
