Was looking for a nice family hotel and mistakenly chose hotel cozzi. It's a nice and decent hotel, no surprise though. The morning buffet is a bit disappointing...I went there at around 10am and food was basically gone.
We booked two rooms for our one week stay in Taipei. We chose this hotel because it is conveniently located in the city. It has a nice modern lobby with multiple elevators to the rooms. Check in was quick and efficient. The staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel provides free shuttle buses to the nearest MRT station as well as the Taoyuan International Airport. Just make sure you call ahead. The rooms we booked did not include free breakfasts. We were charged approximately US$18 per person for it (which is quite pricey!) In my opinion there wasn't a wide selection offered at the breakfast buffet and it is not worth the price. Lots of great places to eat in Taipei~and cheaper too!
Check-in counter was different from other hotels, I.e., I actually sat down and went thru the check-in process which I liked it very much. We enjoyed the quietness on the top floor. The roof top garden was nice and the scenery was great. We have a full view of oldest and most famous hotel, Yuan-Sheng Grand Hotel.
Simply said, this is a great hotel. The staff are all excellent....and they come across as genuinely interested in your well-being. Sonny, the front doorman went above and beyond what was called for. Great breakfast buffet. We had one evening meal in their restaurant and it too was very good.
Great location and a room that exceeded all of our needs. A strong 5!!
