Everything was good until we had no klenex tissues replaced. I went to the front desk and I was advised they did not have access but someone would deliver. Three hours later no klenex to blow my nose. Went to the desk and I was told they were out of klenex. I gave instructions to get one from an empty room and replace my box. The girl followed my instructions.

Hotel’s facade is Zaandam's iconic view but the rooms are not as we expected. We booked 3 rooms and all 3 rooms had bathrooms with leaking showers. Water was just all over the place. Front desk people were all very nice except for one dirty blonde girl who was just very rude and didn’t want to be interrupted even briefly having us wait twice for one brief question.

The area was beautiful, staff was very nice and helpful. Food and dinks in the restaurant were excellent. Hugh selection for breakfast. All the shopping you really need in a short walk.

The staff were all very kind and helpful, they were able to help keep my medicine refrigerated while holding our luggage prior to check in when we arrived 4 hours prior from our flight. The room was clean and comfortable, and location close to the Zaandam station can’t be beat!

The hotel was immaculate and in the perfect location, its 2 stops on the train to Amsterdam central which is perfect. Zaandam itself is a lovely place and I can’t wait to return.

This Hotel was brilliant. Visually stunning from the outside and our room was very clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Huge comfy bed and a Sauna in our bathroom wich was clean and worked perfectly an amazing room on the top floor. The wind was a liitle noisy but nothing the hotel can control and wasn't really a problem. The breakfast was really nice plenty of choice and all the cooked food was warm/hot. And a simple train ride into Amsterdam central or the airport.

Fun hotel to stay for a night or two. Limited options for good lunch/dinner in the hotel and near by. Spa area was tight for the amount of parties that used it. It was a bit crowded. Staff was very nice and attentive. Overall a nice hotel.

We had a fantastic room, the aesthetics of the hotel were great, and the staff was friendly and accommodating (We arrived a bit early, as our initial plan was to stay with a friend when we arrived late one evening, but due to train cancellations, we ended up coming in around 11:30 a.m.) The sauna in the suite was fantastic, perked us right back up despite our rough night. The tub was sizable, you could probably fit two people in there. (Unsure how I feel about the bubbles from below rather than traditional jets though, but honestly I'm happy in any big tub.) The bed was also quite comfortable, on par with the best of them. I believe this is because it's a hefty mattress coupled with a sizable topper, making for an insanely soft yet supportive rest. My one gripe would probably be that the tile floor can be a bit cold on the toes in the winter, probably not helped by the slight cantilever of some of the suites. Wear socks or the (provided) slippers though, and it's not an issue. Previously, we stayed at the Landmark location of the same hotel group; cannot recommend opting for this location more. Prices were comparable (slightly lower during this visit, even), and the access to trains at this location (it's a 30-second walk to the station) makes it a no brainer for visitors to the region.

Love this place
This was our second time to stay here. It’s as lovely as we remember. The bed was so comfortable. This hotel is so charming and we love staying here. It’s a short train ride away from Amsterdam. The hotel is on a walkway that connects to the train station and many eateries and shops along the way, including grocery stores and a mall.

Very pretty from the outside, room did everything we needed- there were some questionable marks in the bathroom ( possibly black mould) but clean other than that. Very well connected for stays in Amsterdam, staff were very helpful and nice. Food was quite expensive, would recommend.

Sadly, the inside does not match the outside. We had a big, very well equiped room but it had no personality, something to make you feel at home. It s a nice hotel for a night or two. Reception staff was very polite and professional.

Rooms are very dirty, first room had muddy floors. We contacted the concierge and they advised that they could give us another room. The new room we got had crumbs all over the floor. Bathroom was clean enough. The insulation between floors are not great, we could hear people walking at all times and the noise from people up late kept us up as well. Pro is how big the rooms are compared to the rooms in Amsterdam city centre.

Funkiest hotel ever!
Location was perfect, just 10 mins from Central Amsterdam. Hotel was clean, bed was comfy, staff were lovely and the hotel was one of the prettiest I've ever stayed in. Couldn't fault it at all. After a day out exploring the city it was perfect to sit with a cocktail in the hotel bar before falling into the comfy bed
