Driving about 8 hours we stopped at this hotel. So easy to find and there was tons on places to eat nearby. On our way out I left my iPad at the hotel.....the staff cleaning it, found it, and the front desk called me!!! I couldn't have been more grateful to turn my car around and go right back to get something that I hadn't even noticed was missing!!!

When booking a chain hotel I typically expect a rubber stamp from city to city. This hotel broke the mold! The building, from the 1800's, is right across the street from the most amazing courthouse and among a collection of charming shops. When inside, you get the modern day appointments like granite counter tops and flat screen TVs but within a setting of completely restored history. Taking a glance around the lobby, you see amazing woodwork over 100 years old. The Mezzanine level features historic artifacts found during the hotel's complete renovation. Our room was fantastic, with 12 foot ceilings, refrigerator, microwave, elegant decor and even memory foam beds. I only wish I could have stayed longer. It featured a nice breakfast in the morning.
