Nice hotel 50 min drive from Yosemite Valley

Posted 29-Jun-2015
Pros: After spending all day hiking in Yosemite, spending the evening relaxing in the pool was great. They have an indoor pool as well as an indoor pool.
Cons: Rooms look a little outdated but keep in mind where you are, Oakhurst not in downtown of a city. Great hotel!
Location: Once again, if a 50 min drive is ok this hotel is the place to stay!
If you want to save a little bit of money, stay the night outside of Yosemite in Oakhurst. It is somewhat of a drive but worth it. Hotel is very comfortable and near places to eat and even a move theatre less than 1 mile away.

Great Hotel

Posted 24-Jun-2015
This hotel was perfect for our stay in Yosemite. It was close to the park and the pool and other facilities fit our needs. The restaurant gave us a 20% discount each morning which was extremely helpful for a family of 6 traveling for 10 days and the laundry facilities worked really well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area.

cozy place. very clean.

Posted 23-Jun-2015
Pros: Nice furniture and murals. Very clean and cozy.
Cons: Breakfast could be less greasy and of higher quality ingredients.
The grounds were pretty, and the room was very pleasing. Beds a little on the springy/lumpy side and the the pillows were too big and firm for my taste. The staff was a bit on the short side, meaning not the friendliest, but answered our questions and did her job as best she could, I suppose. Long day, maybe. Overall, very nice place. Breakfast place needs a little work, though. Food was super greasy and some of the fruit in my yogurt/fruit parfait was still frozen. I would have preferred fresh fruit.

Renovations desperately needed

Posted 19-Jun-2015
I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you enjoy vacationing in a hotel that looks and smells like the 1980's. We checked into our room and I immediately knew we would be checking out. The room smelled very old and musty. The decor was dark and outdated. On a good note, the staff totally understood our displeasure and processed a refund.
