We were having trouble finding a hotel that would accommodate 3 adults and 1 child for 1 night. In hong kong, the hotels are super expensive with no decent bed sizes. Before booking with Expedia, we called the hotel to confirm the description that was on the site. For example, on the site it said "1 double bed, 2 twins beds". It is misleading on the site. When I called the hotel to ask for clarification, they said that they do not have twin beds and that it should be single beds instead. Also, once you try to book it on Expedia, it only gives you the option of either "1 double bed" or "2 twin beds". To sum this up, the description should really be, "1 double bed OR 2 single beds". I would give Expedia some fault on this because if I chose to not call the hotel, I would have booked the wrong thing. So what ended up happening is that I ended up booking a king size bedroom and called the hotel back to ask if I could add a 3rd bed. The man said it was fine at an extra cost. When I had arrived at the hotel, the manager there had understood my accommodation needs (2 adults and 1 child) and upgraded me to a suite. This was really nice of her to do this and I appreciate the great hospitality. Because of this, I ended up not needing to pay for the extra bed. I paid a standard room on Expedia but had a wonderful suite that had 2 bathrooms, 3 marble sinks, 1 shower a living room area that had a couch and was separate from the king size bedroom.

It was a great stay for a family with an infant. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Location is ideal in TST (Kowloon) with great amenities within a stone's throw. Best thing about the hotel is that they provide a complimentary smartphone with 3G and WIFI that enables navigation and tourists guides. I will certainly return to Mira if I were to come back to HK again. Overall rating: 4.5/5. There's always room for improvement I guess!

The hotel is at a great location at a cul de sac street on Tsim Sha Tsui of Kowloon/Hong Kong, next to a large choice of restaurants and shopping. You also have parks close by and views on trees, which is rather rare in HK.
The rooms are excellent, well equipped, in very good condition, and have everything from free wifi, wired internet, tv, CD player, etc. All is kept very clean.
The hotel has a serviced apartment concept. You don't find coffee and breakfast facilities, etc. No problem, as several hotels with such services are less than 100 meter away. What some other reviewers said, it would be a shady area at night, is not correct. Indeed, it is a perfect location.

The bed & bedroom were small but we were there for the location-some noise from the children in the next room but acceptable. No breakfast or dinner facility but plenty of local places to eat in the area and McDonalds or KFC if you want the easy way out. Convenient for Airport Bus and Subway (10-15 minute walk)-get an Octopus Travel Card at the airport and save on the Bus (21A). Some questionable massage parlours in the area but no approaches were made (...should I feel insulted...?) No free maps in English, so pick these up at the airport. Street markets close.
