“Exceptional service and comfort”

Service at the hotel was excellent, friendly and efficient. When we arrived, there was a slight error with the reservation, so they had us waiting for a few minutes. They more than made up for any delay by upgrading the room! It was my wife's birthday on our second night and the staff noticed the date on her passport. They had a cake compliments o the hotel, which made for a lovely surprise at the end of the day. Great breakfast (esp. compared to other mid range hotels in China). Service at all the hotel-owned cafes and restaurants is also top notch. Recommend the lamb tajine at the moroccan restaurant in the west wing.

“will visit it again if back to Xiaan”

Wil definitely visit this hotel if i am back to Xiaan again. Overall, Xiaan is a city for tourist, however the hotel itself show one of the best site of Xiaan. Highly recommend it.

“FANTASTIC SOFITEL!!”

We stayed at the Sofitel Remin the first week of June 2010. We cant say enough about it!! Excellent location, easy walk to major sites ( 10 min to drum tower ). The food is fantastic, my wife is german and they had fresh baked pretzles in the lunch buffet, very unexpected. The spa and pool facilities are great. The hotel grounds are big and clean. The hotel staff made the stay. They arranged for our trip to the historical sites by private car. It was inexpensive, 800 RMB with a guide. The rooms are large, clean and the beds are very comfortable with sheets of a high thread count. This hotel ranks with any 5 star that I have stayed at in Europe. It is the best in Xian. “Good experience”

The hotel is located in a quiet, pretty square surrounded by other hotels so it is removed from some of the hustle and bustle of the main street. Modern and clean ammenities, very comfortable and staff is very courteous. A good choice for this city.

“Would definitely return...”

Fantastic hotel, overall. The staff was accommodating and friendly, the decor and design were fresh and modern, even the food (at the lounge in the main lobby and the sports bar, at least) was good. The room itself surpassed my expectations by a mile - for a single person, it was absolutely enormous.

“Highly recommend”

The location is great and quite beautiful. Was truly impressed by the quality of the hotel and services offered. Everyone on the staff seemed to be able to communicate and understand English. My room was luxurious, including the bathroom. The only downside is access to Internet is not free. Other than that, truly a great place to stay in Xian.

“Luxury 5 star hotel, yet so cheap :o)”

This is luxury at it's best, the hotel is very clean and elegant. Has everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel (Bar, Club, Spa, Swimming Pool, Sauna). Even the bathroom was bigger then most hotel rooms I've stayed in. It's in a good location, walkable form the train station and close to other attractions like the Bell and Drum Towers.
